Wow! Look at that pasta! That shape is so cool. I’ve never seen it before. I guess it’s named that because it looks like calamari? (sp?)
I will never find happiness until we get a Trader Joes.
I guess I shouldn’t complain that Trader Joes is 20 minutes away from my house anymore. I think they are only west coast but I could be wrong. It’s a great place.
That pasta does look like Calamari, I hadn’t seen it before either.
Wow this looks so yummy. My sister that lives in Az is coming to visit in a week and a half and I am going to have her pick me up some from Trader Joes.
I’ll let you know how it goes in a couple of weeks.
Great Valerie,
You’ll love this pasta. That artichoke spread would be great on a toasted baguette! Let me know how you like it!

Hi Jenna,
Great to hear from you. This has been a fun hobby, hope you find some recipes your family will enjoy!
Wow Jen,
This Pasta looks so good, and where did you find those wierd noodles?
Jenny,
My sister brought me the artichoke mixture from Trader Joe’s and I found the same pasta at the Big Lots by my son’s school. I finally made it tonight and my family loved it. I guess it was too spicy for my 4 year old though but my husband was impressed I made something spicy for him.
Thanks!
Valerie
Hi momof3crazykids,
I can’t believe you found the crazy looking pasta! Wasn’t it yummy? I would like to make it again. If it was too spicy for your little one, you could always omit the red pepper flakes. Glad you and your hubby enjoyed!

Hey, it sure looks like fun and so much fuss over a vegetable! I’m not rellay an artichoke fan and I often wonder why it has come to be known as the king of vegetables even though it isn’t rellay that tasty (compared to say Durian as the king of fruits LOL). Do the artichokes in Italy taste any different from those here?
