Mortal beings can now create the stuff of chefs, in minutes, using ingredients all from Trader Joe’s. Use Trader Joe’s as your “prep kitchen” to make delicious home-cooked meals in just minutes.

From quinoa to capers, Marsala to Masala, tofu to turkey, it’s all here. Each recipe features Trader Joe’s products, easy steps, and mouth-watering photos.

Here’s how to enter:

Leave a comment and tell us what your favorite Trader Joe’s product is. If you do not have a Trader Joe’s in your area, I feel very sad for you, so you can just tell us your favorite quick and easy to make dinner using convenient foods from the grocery store. It’s a hard choice, but my favorite Trader Joe’s product is the frozen brown rice that can be microwaved in 3 minutes and then of course the sesame ginger almonds, mmm! Ok I LOVE it all!

Contest ends Monday morning at 9:00am PST. I’ll announce the winner shortly after. Good luck everyone!!!

The nearest Trader Joe’s to us is a good 45 minutes away so I don’t get there often….which is a total downer because I LOVE wandering around that store looking at all the goodies.
I always stock up on nuts when I go-their prices are so good on them. I just noticed in their flyer they have something called “Mangolicious”….I can’t WAIT to try that!

    Nikki says:

My favorite product is their pizza dough- the whole wheat one is excellent, though they are all good. Very inexpensive and makes dinner super easy.

Oh man, I have a bajillion favorite Trader Joe’s things.

I can’t live without the Tomato-less Salsa, which is a corn based salsa sold in the chips aisle. It is SO GOOD to eat as a salsa, but I also stir it into soups, potato salad, tuna salad, hummus, put it on sandwiches, sprinkle it on salads… the possibilities are ENDLESS.

  17. 17
    Sheridan says:

I love their All American Trail Mix. I used to eat a bag of m&ms every day, now I have a handful of this instead. The chocolate is so rich, that it satisfies my need!

The question is…Is there anything BAD at Trader Joe’s?!

I love so many things at Trader Joes. It’s hard to name just one product. One of my favorites is the Manikopitas (sp?). I know the spelling is full, but it is a mushroom version of spanikopitas. They are in the frozen section. All their sauces are wonderful as are their cereals.

  22. 22
    Alicia says:

I don’t have a TJ’s where I live but I love cookbooks and am good at duplicating recipes! My favorite quick and easy recipe would have to be a salmon pattie with a homemade pickled tarter sauce! It is quick and healthy for the whole family!

We just got one recently so I’ve been discovering their products. Of course my favorite is their wine. Hehehee… But we can’t even get that here in TN (legally). I used their broccoli slaw to make your Asian Turkey Lettuce Wraps, so I guess that’s my favorite product!

  32. 32
    Emily says:

We don’t have a Trader Joe’s here. I’m kind of jealous! My favorite thing at a grocery store that is quick and easy is Blueberry Bread Pudding from deli. It’s better than homemade!!

  33. 33
    Kristianna says:

Favorite? Oh man, see, I go there weekly and it’s my ‘usual’ store, not a place I go for special, so I love it all and love them for enabling my family to eat amazing food and great variety while spending 1/3 as much as I would at say, Safeway.

Favorite? Hmmm. I will say that if I need a treat, I buy some of their dark chocolate bars. And my own weekly ‘treat’ is to buy a 6 pack of Hansens diet soda. :)

  34. 34
    Kelly says:

My favorite TJ’s item has to be their peanut butter filled pretzels. They are sooo good!

I can’t believe I missed the cake giveaway!
Trader Joe’s is a staple for us. How to narrow it down to a favorite? The identity crisis tortilla chips, the chocolate covered cherries, the rice pudding, and the thai-ginger carrots.
Funny how I’m suddenly REALLY hungry!

  38. 38
    Satisfying my Sweet Tooth says:

I love Trader Joes and am so sad we don’t have one in Utah, but every time I get out to CA or AZ it’s always on my list of places to stop. I can’t think of one favorite..possible the fun carbonated drinks, at Christmas I love the peppermint jojos and I can go on and on. Next time I will have to buy the 3 minute brown rice though. Wow! On another note, saw you on the hamburger food network challenge the other night. So fun! My husband pointed out that you were from Gilbert and I should mention that my sister is running for Gilbert Town Council, so tell all your friends/family still there to vote for Jenn Daniels on May 19th! Sorry about the really long post!

Rachelle @ "Mommy? I'm Hungry!" says:

We have a Trader Joe’s down the road from us :) Infact I was there last night getting some nuts (good deals there!). Hmmm, my favorite item? Well how silly, but we like the white cheddar puffs.

Their prices are great for lots of things (I’m not much into prepared foods)so some other regular items I only get there are: frozen blueberries, orange chicken, fresh pepper mill, nuts (almond meal), vanilla, sushi….I’ve posted some in my Flickr. lol

  40. 40

    snbjork says:

Our nearest T.J.’s is 1-1/2 hours away and I’ve never had the chance to go there. But, I have many friends from out west who rave about it. I hope to make it sometime in the next few months.

One of my favorite convenience items to have on hand is pizza dough. You can do so many things with it. But, all of us love pizza, so it is nice to be able to throw a pizza together in just a few minutes’ time.
