I have thoroughly been enjoying the new line of Mezzetta Napa Valley Bistro Pasta Sauces. I’m telling you they are the closest thing to a homemade tasting sauce that I’ve tried. I used this sauce to make my latest soup and just made an awesome recipe with it last night that I’ll be sharing soon.
The folks at Mezzetta are offering 2 lucky Picky Palate readers 2 jars each of their new line of sauces. They retail for $5.99 each.

I use jarred pasta sauce to create a simple chicken parmesan recipe. My family eats it up!
I am always up for a fresh pan of lasagna with yummy tomato sauce, but I also really love a fresh alfredo sauce over penne pasta with chicken & spinach. Mmmmm….
Chicken parm stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella. MMMMMmmmmm smothered in a simple tomato sauce
I love stir-frying different mix of grains with pasta sauce and veggies, then topped of with cheese! lots of cheese!
Spaghetti sauce, definitely! I like to make my sauce with lots of Marsala wine. YUM
My favorite is Kid pleasing spaghetti. It is a casserole dish that uses a creamy cheese mixture in the layers. YUMMY!
Lasagna rolls….yum!
Chicken Parmesan breaded with panko crumbs or basic spaghetti because my kids love simple. But you need to use a good quality hamburger.
I love baked ziti with pasta sauce, sour cream, and provolone cheese…Yum!
Chicken Parmesan or Italian sausage and spinach lasagna are great, but my comfort food is just noodles and pasta sauce! It’s sure to cure a yucky day for me!
Eggplant Parm!
There’s nothing better than our families annual Spaghetti night each week. I love when we add fresh squash and zuchinni to it. Yum!
cream chesse, spices, parm. cheese and spinach rolled in a chicken breast, breaded and baked. top with parm. cheese, and spaghetti sauce.
I’d have to say lasagna with LOTS of yummy stringy cheese!
Chicken Parm — love the crunch of breading with the tang of sauce. Son Big T also likes baked ziti with lots of sauce and melty cheese. This sauce looks yummy!
I love meatball subs with tomato and basil sauce with cut up onion on top! yummy
I love to make baked ziti with sausage. I serve it with a small dollop of sour cream on top. Mmmm, so good!
I love homemade tortellini stuffed with cheese and cooked in a garlic tomato sauce.

I love baked ziti and lasagna!!! Yum!!
I would have to say parmesean chicken-YUM. Although a good meatball sub is hard to beat
I once won a trip to Italy in a local contest using pasta sauce. I fried Italian sausage, rolled them in flattened bread slices and baked them, smothered them in sauteed onions, peppers and sauce, sprinkled with grated cheese and won the fabulous trip!
Baked spaghetti is one of my favorites! Nothing is more comforting on a rainy night than a nice warm piece of baked spaghetti. I also like to to use it as a dipping sauce for homemade fried cheese sticks (my kids favorite).
My husband loves my meatball hoagie- succulent bite-sized meatballs stiffed into a warm, crusty roll, topped with marinara sauce and a thick slices of provolone and mozarella cheese. The whole sandwich is then broiled until the cheese is bubbly and gooey.
Half Marinara, half alfredo sauce on angel hair for me please!
chicken and spinach stuffed manicotti. or simply spagetti with grilled chicken breast.
Manicotti with tomato sauce an fresh mozzerella cheese. YUM

Lasagna, of course, & good old fassioned doctored up speghetti & meatballs.
I love any Italian food, well almost any food with Spaghetti sauce. In college my roomates and I would eat a healthy snack that we called “bean juices” just green beans with tons of good tomato sauce. Sounds strange, but try it.
My mother in law’s chicken parmesan. The best part is that my husband almost has her recipe down pat!!!
manicotti with lots of cheese…yum!
My favorite is angel hair topped with sauteed zucchini, sweet onions and lots of fresh garlic and a dollop of sweet tomato basil sauce and a little bit of parmesan cheese. Mmmm!
I’m a vegan but I love pasta. I love to make my corkscrew pasta with a great spaghetti sauce filled with parmessan and monzrella cheese with lots of red peppers and lots of fresh rosemary and basil. Of course I use meatless vegan hamburger meat and vegan cheeses but I’m telling you it is out of this world. Especially when it is served with homemade garlic bread filled with vegan butter. To die for!
we are a lasagna family these days, so that’s my vote!
OHH MINE IS THE SPEGEHETTI THAT YOU HAVE POSTED WITH THE BACON AND CREAM IN THE RED SAUCE!!
My choice, hands down, is LASAGNA!!! I like to make it with hot turkey italian sausage and ground turkey meat. YUM!!!
Lasagna would be my favorite too, loaded with Italian sausage! Yum!!
Spicy Italian Sausage or meatballs simmered in sauce. Place sausage or meatballs and some sauce on sliced italian bread, top with parmesan and yum. A good thick slice of fried eggplant instead of the sausage is especially delicious.
Yummy, my fav is lasagna
I agree about the lasagna, but I’d have to add the simple classic–a great baguette with marinara as dipping sauce. Mmmm!
I love to marinate meatballs in it and make meatball sandwiches. YUM!
I would have to say chicken Parmesan is my very favorite. It’s so yummy.
My very own pasta bake is my favorite: it has mushrooms, bell peppers, pepperoni and mozz. cheese in it. Yumm stuff!
Our latest fav is a whole wheat pita with meatballs, red sauce and mozzarella cheese! Yum!
Anytype of red sauce pasta! delicious
I would say Chicken Parmesan or Parmigianna?
