What You’ll Need

  • salted butter– For most of my recipes I use salted butter, unsalted works fine too.
  • white chocolate chips– Find the white chocolate chips in the baking isle of the grocery store.
  • brown sugar– I used light brown sugar for the blondies, dark brown sugar works as well.
  • large eggs– For consistency, I use large eggs in all of my cooking and baking.
  • pure vanilla extract- Use pure vanilla for best tasting results.
  • sour cream– Use full fat sour cream for the recipe.
  • all-purpose flour– Flour is the main dry ingredient in the blondies.
  • baking soda– Baking soda helps the blondies rise during baking.
  • kosher salt– Kosher salt is a coarse salt commonly used in cooking and baking. I prefer it over table salt.
  • mini chocolate chips– If you can’t find mini chocolate chips, regular are fine too.
  • creamy peanut butter– Any favorite brand of peanut butter is fine.

I made this recipe. It did not look done when I removed it from the oven, but after chilling it held together. It tasted marvelous! I cut it into 16 servings instead of 12 because it is very sweet and rich.
