Happy Friday everyone! I have got a great new product to share with you and a chance at winning some of their products. Here’s how I found them….

I was at my favorite Whole Foods Market at the District a few weeks ago and ran into a colorful little display of Revolution Food products. I was quickly drawn to them because I’m always looking for something healthy to add to my boys lunch boxes. The more I read about the products the more I LOVED! So, I picked up the Squeezable Fruit Mashups which is a brilliant idea of pureed fruit the kids can squeeze right out of the little package. My boys absolutely loved these. They call them their fruit smoothies. You can also freeze them for a fun treat and it even keeps the lunch box cold.
Here are more of their great products, I am so excited to try them all. Here’s what they have to say about their products:
“Our organic lunchbox snacks and sandwich builders make it easy to nourish your kids with yummy balanced nutrition. We like to think of it as Lunchbox Simplicity. Simple for parents to pack, simple for kids to eat and a simple way to maintain a healthy diet at school or at home.”

Most of the time I ate school lunches… My mom didn’t really have the energy to prepare school lunches (I had 3 siblings with severe disabilities).
I’m all over anything organic and healthy, and still yummy and FUN for the kids, so this one is great for me!
I was a super picky eater when I was little, so my two favorite things to eat in my packed lunch were brie cheese and Carr’s water crackers or chips and salsa. Not your average lunchbox items, I know, but I loved them 🙂
My mom always packed Hi-C jusice boxes. On valentines day she always packed a heart shaped peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich, heart shaped jello jigglers and of course, a valentine.
I thought I was so special cause my mom made my lunch everyday. School lunch tasted like cardboard! I also remember my mom sending me cute little notes. She always had a way of making me feel so special. 🙂
My lunches always had fruit snacks. Not these new-fangled ones that are in shapes, but the old school bean shaped ones…mmmmm!
Oh ya! those bean shaped fruit snacks were the BEST! Why don’t they make those anymore?!!
First of all, of COURSE I’m following you’re blog (you’re on of my favorites shhhh don’t tell the others!) and second… my favorite item my mom packed me was individual pudding cups!! And then she would right a cute little note of them in sharpie! It was my favorite!
you bet ya, I’m a follower!
When my mom was able to pack me lunch she would pack my favorite sandwiches and her special chocolate chip cookies. nothing super special but fun for me.
My lunchtime staple was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. But I really loved it when my mom would pack a Hostess cupcake in my lunchbox. Those were the best!
I was a very picky eater. It was always a baloney sandwich and some kind of sweet snack. But I loved to have a Twinkie in my lunch. Those were my fave!
I usually had the school lunch, but whenever my mom did buy lunch snacks we always ate them before we could even pack them in our lunch…..hmmmmm….maybe that is way we had school lunches.
ALWAYS a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on homemade wheat bread, a piece of fruit (whatever was on sale!), and occasionally a homemade cookie. Never sure if it was a budget issue or a “earth mother” issue, but we were never allowed to have any convenience or junk food. LOL!
I remember my mom sticking me little notes in my lunch. I loved it. I now stick random notes in my son’s lunchbox and he loves it, too. I see him saving them in his treasure box he keeps under his bed.
My mom would core an apple and fill it with peanut butter, walnuts and raisins. So so tasty.
My Mom worked a lot while I was growing up, so most of the time I had the school hot lunch. But I do remember her packing me a lunch from time to time and what I remember most about that is when I’d get a mini bag of chips or some kind of “special” snack food.
Bologna, cheese and mustard. I loved it “warm” after sitting in my lunch box all morning and all squished together. Yum.
I remember a lot of PB&J – the funny memory I have was when it was no longer “cool” to take a lunch pail and I had to switch to brown paper sacks. lol
Dad used to pack my lunch, always sandwich chips and an apple. Sandwiches were usually PBJ, every so often it was peanut butter marshmallow fluff. Gotta love the fluff!
I’m a follower of your delicious blog! I LOVED when my mom would pack squeeze-its in my lunch box (but that rarely ever happened) along with any sort of sweet treat (again, rarely happened) so that when it did it was like Christmas in the cafeteria! 🙂
i rarely got a packed lunch but when i did my favorite was little debbie cupcakes!
A few things I remember: macaroni and cheese (the popular lunch choice in 6th grade), hot dogs, bagel bites.

I didn’t take my lunch to school that often, but when I did, my mom would always include a little note and a sticker. I loved wearing the different stickers each time!
My dad was the one would who packed my lunch and for some reason he always packed apple sauce. Every lunch no matter what else was in there, I could count on having a little can of apple sauce.
I remember from grade school.. my mom would pack things in my thermos. I was always shocked it would still be hot when I ate it for lunch.
PB & J…love it!
Hey! I am following your blog! I always remember my mom would pack me a PB&J! And she would always write me a note everyday that made me feel extra special!
I’ve been following you for about a year now.
My mom never packed my lunch. I always got free school lunch.
The thing I remember most about what my mom put in my lunches, were the sweet little notes “Have a great Day”, “Good Luck on your test”, etc.
I couldn’t take my lunch because I went to a Catholic school and they made you eat in the cafeteria, but some foods they served there I still crave today. The blonde brownies were the best ever. I so wish I could get that recipe!!
There is not a whole foods near here…boo!
But I always LOVED taking SpaghettiO’s in my lunch! For some reason I loved them right out of the can…which just that thought disgust me today so many years later! 🙂
One in particular thing stands out in my mind. I remember in elementary school my mom packed a peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwich. The kids around me oohed and aahed when I pulled it out (oh yeah, they were jealous!). That was a special treat and not something I got all the time.

I LOVE Whole Foods. Too bad the nearest one is about 30 minutes away. I really don’t remember my mom packing my lunch too much. I remember making my lunch in the kitchen and feeling very grown up about the whole thing 🙂
I don’t remember much about lunches. I must have blocked them out, so I try to be a little better for my kids. These look great!
My mom packed me lots and lots of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I remember lots of them being squished because something always landed on top of them.
