Ok, I LOVE this applesauce on the go! It is just a genius idea, wish I would have thought of it.
GoGo Squeeze/Materne is a France based company with an incredible product I know you will love. The good folks at Materne are giving 2 Picky Palate Readers 4 boxes each of their applesauce on the go! That’s 16 pouches.
My boys LOVED this applesauce on the go. I put it in their lunches and they devoured it for after school snack too. They really couldn’t keep their hands off of it. Check out GoGo Squeeze/Materne website to see where you can pick some up near you!!
You’ll see by the pictures below, I had no problem getting the boys to sample this product 🙂

Dried cranberries, all the way. That, or fresh blueberries.
My kiddos love the old stand by of celery with peanut-butter and like others mentioned, carrots with hummus.

We always have a bowl of fresh fruit on the counter for snacking on the go!
I always have a big bag of pretzels from Costco in the pantry. They’re healthy and my kids love them!
I also am a foodie friend
I love all these ideas! My kids will drink fruit smoothies and I add carrots in them. They never can tell.
Smoothies! I hid spinach, carrots, wheat germ, flax seed, all kinds of things in there then just add a little yogurt, strawberries (this helps hide the spinach) and whatever fruit I have on hand and viola!

i typically dont’ let my kids snack. But if i’m cutting up veggies for supper, to cook, and they ask for one, i give it to them to try. I also limit sweets. My kids love fruit so i usually don’t have to much trouble getting them to eat something reasonably healthy
And I am a foodie friend as well.

Just having the healthier foods available works well for us. Whenever they want a snack I have them choose a healthy thing (ie: carrots, apple slices, applesauce, yogurt, etc) and then they can have some crackers or pretzels to go along with that. And sometimes some chocolate chips mixed in with dried fruit and nuts. They seem to pick the healthy things most of the time, so I’m lucky!
I have my two year old daughter convinced that wheat germ is “sprinkles.” I make a big deal out of it and let her sprinkle it on whatever food she happens to be eating. She loves it. For now anyway, I’m sure she will catch on to my wily ways soon.
My baby girl loves fruit, so that’s the easy one. I still haven’t found a good way to get her veggies in though. She will pick out even the most miniscule green thing in her food.
I keep small (very small) candies at home, and before the kids can have one small treat, they have to consume a healthy snack (i.e., fruit or veggie).

My kids are ridiculously picky. I keep trying, though! One thing I can do is to sneak veggies into their smoothies. They love them! It’s the only way I can get them to eat veggies.

My son is only 15 months old so he really only knows healthy snacks. I hope to keep it that way. : )

@busymomto5
my best tip to get my kids to eat healthy is to eat healthy myself! Whatever I am snacking on, they want to eat as well!
What do you think chilled? or room temperature for these treats? (3rd twitter entry)
The birdie says Tweet Tweet!
(Just filling up my 2 posts. LOL)
I follow you on twitter already.
I am already a foodie follower.
I think my “trick” is to just have healthy snacks around. At eat them often. If I am eating some sort of snack, my favorite, veggies and hummus, my 6 year old will say, “Do I like this?” and of course my reply is YES! and then he will try it. I don’t have picky eaters though.
I think it’s because exposure to so much.
