The good folks at Chili’s have offered to give 1 Picky Palate Reader a $50 Gift Card to dine at one of their restaurants!! They also sent my family so we could share our dining experience of Chili’s new menu items with all of you. Here’s how our delicious night of eating went down……….
We started with a cup of their new Chicken Green Chili Soup. Let me just say, my husband and I LOVED this, so much I totally re-created it!! See my recipe HERE.
I know, so naughty, but then we tried their new Loaded Beef Nachos. Um….Incredible 
The boys ordered off of the kids menu, but picked at our food too
For our main course, we shared the new Carribean Salad, Mini Chicken and Beef Tacos and the Steakhouse Sandwich. We really enjoyed all of these plates, especially the Steakhouse Sandwich. The horseradish dipping sauce was AWESOME!
It wouldn’t have been appropriate had we not ordered dessert, so we ordered their new Brownie Sunday, which was pretty much devoured Thanks for a great dining experience Chili’s!!

I tend to order the same few things. I rotate. But my husband will order the SAME THING every time.
It totally depends with me. At Chili’s, I almost always order whatever’s new but at places that aren’t as fun as Chili’s I stick with the boring stuff that I know I like.

I usually order the same thing, unless something new looks tempting… like that steakhouse sandwich! Yum!
My husband ALWAYS orders the same thing. A bacon cheeseburger. Always. I like to try new things. I recently tried the baked potato soup at Chili’s, it is SO good! I’ll definitely be making that at home, too!

I’m definitely a ‘same thing’ girl, but I usually have 2-3 items I like and will go back and forth. If I eat at a restaurant regularly, I’ll branch out more often, but it’s rare!
Whether I order the same thing or not depends on where I’m going. I have a “usual” at Red Robin and Olive Garden, but I don’t really go out much. I haven’t been to Chili’s in a few years, but I used to really LOVE it.

i keep telling to order different menu item when going out, but i end up ordering the same thing to the point now that the particular restaurant is on my “banned list”
Fun place. My husband stays with standards when we eat out – I am more adventurious!
