The good folks at Chili’s have offered to give 1 Picky Palate Reader a $50 Gift Card to dine at one of their restaurants!! They also sent my family so we could share our dining experience of Chili’s new menu items with all of you. Here’s how our delicious night of eating went down……….
We started with a cup of their new Chicken Green Chili Soup. Let me just say, my husband and I LOVED this, so much I totally re-created it!! See my recipe HERE.
I know, so naughty, but then we tried their new Loaded Beef Nachos. Um….Incredible 
The boys ordered off of the kids menu, but picked at our food too
For our main course, we shared the new Carribean Salad, Mini Chicken and Beef Tacos and the Steakhouse Sandwich. We really enjoyed all of these plates, especially the Steakhouse Sandwich. The horseradish dipping sauce was AWESOME!
It wouldn’t have been appropriate had we not ordered dessert, so we ordered their new Brownie Sunday, which was pretty much devoured Thanks for a great dining experience Chili’s!!

sometimes i try new things but then again I go to a place and I know exactly what I want and it may have been what I had the last time I was there. it’s just what I’m in the mood for. Chili’s is one of our favorite places!! thanks for the chance!

I have tried two of the new soups. I loved the green chile chicken soup but the other one, a creamed corn, not so much.
My husband loved the baked potato and the black bean but they removed them from their menu. I have always wanted an

I always order a bacon cheeseburger….although sometimes I switch back and forth between cheddar and blue cheese!
I have traditonally been an always order the same thing kind of girl. But, due to my husband’s requests, I have recently been trying new things. I am happy to say that I am now a “try new things” kind of girl! I was missing out before

It depends on what I’m in the mood for! Sometimes I order chicken anywhere I go, and sometimes I like to try new things. We go to Chili’s all the time, so when they have new things, I usually like to try them.

I ALWAYS get the same thing at Chilis. I vary between the blackberry tea and Dr Pepper though- does that count as daring?? Chilis is our favorite and I would love a gift card. I never win anything!

I’m a new item person. You never know when you’ll discover a new fave!
I am a stay with what I know and like type of girl. It makes me really sad to order something and then not like it have to watch everyone else happily enjoying their food. Food envy…not good.
I want to win! I tend to stick to items on a menu that I already know I like rather than risk getting something new and not liking it, but if it was paid for by someone else I’ll try anything!
I order the same two or three things each time. I just find what I like and stick with it.

I was so happy they brought the Caribbean Salad back. And they added dried cherries? Awesome. I don’t always order the same thing, unless I’m going to that place specifically for that item. At Chili’s I would go back and forth between that salad and their ribeye or chicken fried steak.
I normally order the same thing, but if there’s something new that sounds delicious, I’ll be daring and try it.
