it says 2lbs of icing sugar for the frosting? is this right sounds like a lot but really what do i know? could you clerify for me thanks want to make this for easter dinner and don’t want to disapoint!

I am gonna bake this cake tonight for brother’s 31st tomorrow. Question. Is it compulsory to add the pudding mix in? I can’t find it.
