It’s Monday!! I am getting myself packed up and ready for the Bertolli LA trip tomorrow. So excited to stay in a nice hotel, meet Rocco DiSpirito and some fabulous bloggers and kick my heels up for a couple days!! I’ll be sure to post pictures of the trip later this week
Now for some cookies! So excited to share these giant Bakery worthy M&M cookies with you guys
Listen up….go find yourself one of these Muffin Top Pans pictured below, they make the B-E-S-T giant cookies ever!! Check it out…
So this is the Muffin Top Pan by Cuisinart. I picked this one up at TJ Maxx for 6.99! If you’ve got a TJ Maxx or Marshalls near by, go try to find one. I’m telling you, these pans are awesome for making giant cookies! If you can’t find them, I found some online HERE you can check out
I’m on the hunt for a couple more myself!
Once you’ve got your muffin top pan, go get a nice bag of M&M’s!!
Now, scoop a heaping 1/4 Cup of cookie dough into each of the muffin cups and press down.
Pour your M&M’s…
and press onto tops of cookies…
bake and….
Mmmmm! Wait until you try this recipe, just recently put it together and LOVE it! The cookies are great chilled too!
XXL M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 sticks softened butter
3/4 Cup sugar
1 Cup packed light brown sugar
2 extra large eggs
2 Tablespoons pure vanilla
3 3/4 Cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
12 oz bag chocolate chips
1 bag M&M’s (you’ll have some left over)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a stand or electric mixer beat the butter and sugars until well beaten. Beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined. Place flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl; mix. Slowly add to wet ingredients along with the chocolate chips. Do not mix in M&M’s!!
2. Scoop 1/4 Cup of dough and press into a muffin top pan (or just press onto a parchment or silpat lined cookie sheet). Now, press your M&M’s onto pressed cookies. This way they won’t break apart!! Bake for 12-15 minutes, until edges just start to turn golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes on muffin top pan or cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack. Grab a tall glass of milk and EAT until your hearts content
About 18 XXL cookies!

I made these last night and they are delicious! I didn’t find them at my TJ Maxx so I ordered them off of Amazon.com and made them last night–I’m hooked! I hope I can find more recipes to make in these pans! I shared your recipe on one of my message boards and told them about your blog as well.

I couldn’t find the pans…and my hubby ate almost all of my m&m’s…but they turned out great, regardless! Yum!
where can i get one of those pans? i have looked at walmart and bed, bath,&beyond.
I am thinking about making these, but I would like to know what size M&M bag to use. Could you please add the size of the bag on the recipe? Thank you!
After seeing all the fun things you’ve made with the muffin top pan, I asked for one for my birthday. Today, I tried it out for the first time using this recipe (substituting Reese’s pieces for M&Ms), and let me just say…I am smitten! Keep the muffin top pan recipes coming!
Just made these for the kiddos for their after school treat today. They are sooooo delicious! I didn’t have the muffin top pan, so I just formed them with my hand and baked on a lined cookie sheet. They came out perfect! This is hands down the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever tried! Thanks for the great recipe! Can’t wait for the kids to get home and have some (:

I was super excited to try this recipe. I found the pan at Bed Bath and Beyond for $15. I just finished making these and they are good, but the dough was very sticky and goopy. It didn’t look like your dough. I’m not sure why. Could it be the butter I used?
I “FINALLY” got to make these!!! My friend got me some muffin top pans for Christmas, so of course I had to try this recipe. My husband tells me that from now on, when I make cookies, I have to use these pans!! Now I have to try all your other recipes!!! Hope you have other ideas in the future. Thanks!!!
finally a use for my muffin topper pan! (:

Just wanted to let you know I made these cookies tonight sans the muffin tins and….wow…holy goodness. My son doesn’t like M&Ms (yes, yes, you read that correctly…who raised that kid?!) in his cookies, so I did half the batch as just chocolate chips. I mixed milk and semi-sweet and they were fantastic. I stumbled upon your blog through my friend the Snappy Gourmet and I’m kind of hooked. Quality job.
So glad to hear it, thanks for sharing!

Saw this post, got one of those pans from Amazon, and made these! They are awesome! So fun! These have a ton of flour in them, compared to regular recipes…any idea why? I guess I am just wondering if any old chocolate chip recipe would be ok in this type of pan. Would another cookie recipe, for example, Snickerdoodles, work in this pan too?
So glad that you enjoyed the recipe Jen! Thanks for sharing!
So excited to see 2 full tablespoons of vanilla in a cookie. I always add extra! These are great.
This recipe didn’t turn out well for me…I made it on a plain cookie sheet, not a muffin top pan…the mix was so dry, the dough never even came together and the cookies didn’t spread at all in the oven – they were very dry as well…what did i do wrong?!
