My daughter is still a toddler, but for a fun snack we like to make pizza bagels. I usually let her built her own; she just has a blast!

Well, on Fridays it is always some sort of treat. The fresher the better, nothing like something yummy coming out of the oven! The other school days it is usually a little more healthy. 😉

Rice Krispie squares are perfect snack….I remember my grandma making them for me when I was in kindergarten. Always looked forward to coming home to them! Chocolate chip cookies rule, but there was something special about Grandma’s squares. I still get nostalgic when I smell them.

My kids chose Pop-Tarts. We don’t eat them for breakfast, we have a no-sugar-for-breakfast rule. So after school is the only time they get to eat them. But I like to give them warm peanuts they have to crack open! Make them work for it!! 😉

I don’t have kids, but one of my favorite after school snacks as a kid was Reese’s peanut butter cups and milk. 🙂

Frozen bananas in the blender with some milk, vanilla and cocoa powder. You can make it as thick or runny as you like. It’s so yummy! My boys and I love it!
