What exciting news to find Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce now has two servings of veggies in every half cup.
We are massive pasta eaters in the Picky Palate house, so I was thrilled to try Ragu’s new pasta sauce with all the extra veggies packed in.

I found that the new formulation doesn’t actually have any different ingredients than the old formula. They’ve just packed more veggies into the formula to get to 2 servings of veggies per half cup (vs. 1 serving per half cup). The taste is the same great taste and they want to assure moms that the sauce they’re used to and have been feeding their families for years hasn’t changed.

We tried the Skillet Pasta and Beef Dinner with our new veggie packed Ragu and the kids went nuts for it. Before I added the sauce, I made sure I tried a spoon of each (the old and the new) and I enjoyed the chunkiness of the new sauce because I knew it was packed with lots of vegetables!

The dinner was a huge success and it literally took minutes to prepare. I love pulling out quick and simple recipes during the busy school week and that is exactly what Ragu helps us with. A great pasta sauce packed with lots of vegetables. Mom is happy and the kids are happy!

I agree with many of the other comments – spaghetti is always a favorite and easy, too!

I like spaghetti and meat sauce (Meatballs sometimes require too much work when I’m tired).

My quick and easy pasta night is just cooking up the mini shells and my girls like it with just the simple sauce on it and some bread and salad on the side. So fast and they eat it all up!

Umm, cook the pasta, dump on the sauce. Add meat if you feel adventurous. It is hard to go wrong with pasta.

Just any pasta with sauce, I also use marinara sauce to add more to leftover mac n’ cheese so my kids will eat it!

As a teacher, I have MANY busy school nights. 🙂 My favorite go-to pasta recipe is Pasta Puttanesca – garlic, onion, tomatoes, capers and red pepper flakes. So easy and so delicious.

easiest is a bag of ravioli, a jar of sauce and a box of garlic bread – and the whole family loves it!

The best pasta I can throw together in no time is a gnocchi with lemon cream sauce I grabbed from epicurious awhile ago. I always put in extra cayenne for a nice kick!

I definitely go with the good old easy standby of spaghetti with meat sauce. If we’re lucky, we get garlic bread too. haha! 🙂

I’m a sucker for homemade spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. If we’re in the mood for a white creamy sauce then definitely lemon basil chicken with cream sauce over penne. Yum!

We love homemade sauce and meatballs. I usually make up an extra large batch and freeze at least 1/2 for another use! (Plus I always have to give some to my parents because my dad loves it too!)

Quick and easy pasta go to is Spaghetti, but my favorite is lasagna, I don’t make it often b/c it takes to long.

I don’t love red sauce, so if I’m in a hurry I use pesto (that I have previously made and frozen. . .) on angel hair pasta (because it cooks fastest) 🙂

Baked zitti with lots of chesse, garlic bread and salad. THE BEST AND SUPER EASY:)))))

My favorite weeknight pasta meal is simply spaghetti with tomato sauce and cooked ground beef/turkey with some fresh veggies thrown in! Simple and delicious. 🙂

My super-quick weeknight pasta dinner is spaghetti and meatballs, slow-cooker style. Sometime earlier in the day, I just dump frozen meatballs (homemade or store-bought) and a jar of pasta sauce in the slow cooker. Then at dinner time, I only need a few minutes to boil some pasta, make a salad and maybe throw together a salad. Voila! Dinner is served!

I love to make easy chicken scampi- fresh basil, olive oil, garlic, chicken, and a little bit of butter all sauteed together then poured over whole wheat pasta. Yum!

Spaghetti and Meatballs, as long as the sauce and meatballs have been in the crock pot all day. MMMMMMMMM!!!!

My favorite quick n easy pasta dish is fettucine carbonara. One block of cream cheese melted with some milk, frozen peas, and crumbled bacon, tossed over pasta… YUMALICIOUS!

My stand by mid week pasta recipe is baked penne- jarred sauce, ground beef, pepperoni, green peppers, onion. Mix together top with mozarella and bake. Its a crowd pleaser in my house.
