I LOVE this post! Seriously, it made me laugh, and it made me want to try these ugly cookies!

Keep coming up with these creative ideas! Sometimes they work out, and sometimes they don’t. Either way, it’s so fun to try.

I wonder how this would work if you cooked it in an 8 x 8 pan then cut it into bars and served it like a brownie?

You could use them to make a tifle with pudding and whipped cream and full oreos or brownies or cake. Yum!

My thoughts, too! The cream probably gives it too much moisture/oil (whatever is in that cream, it can’t be actual butter, can it?). You could save the cream and turn it into a drizzle (I don’t have a great idea on how to do that, though).

What if…you add more oreo flour and less moisten ingredients, would that work? Just asking…. Nevermind, these look delicious tho…

Oh heaven help me. So basically what we have here is an Oreo cookie with more butter and sugar added… because they were just too darn healthy on their own! This recipe could be serious trouble for me if I were ever to attempt it. I’m not sure I’d ever fit through a door again! I love someone’s comment of crumbling it and using it as a topping on ice cream! (Going weak at the knees.) I can only imagine the heavenly bliss. Yum!!

I second this! Oreos are not just flour but fat and sugar too. Perhaps try again with half the butter and either no or very little sugar? I’ve had virtually this exact mess when I meant to halve a trusty chocolate chip cookie recipe and mistakenly used the full dose of butter+sugar but half of everything else.
