You Can Trust a Skinny Cook Cookbook Giveaway! 3 Winners :)

Thank you for entering. The contest is now closed and the winners have been notified 🙂

What a pleasure it was meeting Allison Fishman in person at the BlogHer Food Conference a few weeks ago in Atlanta. I have been dying to meet her for months since I found her fantastic cookbook! She is beautiful and so talented, so glad I had the chance to meet her. We both have the privilege of working with Wiley Publishing too, so exciting!

Wait until you flip through the pages of Allison’s book, she’s witty, funny and the photos are enough to make you want to make each and every one of her recipes! No kidding, I forgot that her recipes are healthy. Take a look at Amazon.com where you can get your own copy if you don’t want to gamble with the giveaway 🙂

I make a baked “fried” chicken, fresh green beans, and salad. Frozen low-fat yogurt for dessert topped with fresh berries.

That is how I make my chicken fingers too! I bake it as well. I put a little hot sauce in the egg wash.

This cook book looks great! One of my favorite healthy meals is a grilled piece of lean meat (chicken, pork or beef) with a lot of healthy things on the side…roasted asparagus or broccoli, then a salad and/or some fresh fruit.

I LOVE roasting veggies, because they require so little fat to make them delicious. Just a nice sprinkling of Kosher salt and a drizzle of olive oil and they’re delicious!

  9. Amy

Grilled Steak Salad with caramelized onions and blue cheese crumbles with a light vinaigrette on the side.

My favorite way to cook healthy for my little family is to use my garden an d sometimes I venture to my grandfathers fruit garden. My favorite recipe is a zucchini and roasted tomato pasta, and for dessert we have fresh fruit popsicles with fruit chunks in it.

I like to make burritos. I use whole wheat wraps, grilled lean steak, fresh made salsa and lots of cilantro. We usually have some black beans on the side. Healthy, low calorie and low fat and, most importantly, tasty!!
