We had the monte cristo when we were there and absolutely loved it. Our waiter bagged up the other half for me and gave me some of that delicious berry sauce to go since I loved it so much. I ate some of the leftover berry sauce with fresh brie and whole wheat crackers. It was pure heaven! If anyone knows how to make that berry sauce, I would be forever grateful!

These could have been my pictures from our trip last summer! We went to the cafe on our last night to use up our meal vouchers. We also ordered the pommes frites, chicken gumbo crepe and the Monte Cristo sandwich. All three were delicious!

My MIL went to Disneyland a few years ago with my SIL and her family, and they ate at Cafe Orleans. When we brought MIL to Disneyland with us last year, she would NOT let us eat there because “the food was so weird.” She was telling me all about ordering a ham and cheese sandwich that ended up being made with doughnuts instead of bread. It was hard not to laugh. I guess she didn’t know what a Monte Cristo was, and she couldn’t wrap her head around it. She didn’t believe me when I told her people absolutely LOVE it and make sure to eat there just for a Monte Cristo when they visit Disneyland. Maybe I should send her this post. I have yet to try it, but it’s on my list for our next trip!
