3 days to go! Awesome contest! I’m going to be out of town for 9 months or more at a cooking academy and I can’t take my laptop with me – The top is cracked and it won’t close. The clickers are stuck and most of the keys missing, so I use an external usb mouse and keyboard. The speakers and speaker jack are busted, so I have it hooked up to a usb audio mixer then to an old stereo receiver and then to a set of bookshelf speakers. Its just so awful and embarrassing, however, I am thankful that I am able to use it. I can’t afford a new laptop, so winning the iMac would be so awesome! Oh my gosh! Thank you! I hope I win the iMac! You wouldn’t believe the condition my Toshiba laptop is in… the shell is cracked in various places, about 30% of the keys are missing, the paint has rubbed off where I place my fingers, the clicker buttons are stuck, the speakers don’t work, they just buzz, and the headphone jack is jacked, so I have to run a usb cable to an Alesis powered mixer, out to an old Technics receiver, then out to a pair of bookshelf speakers! My laptop is so grody and so embarrassing! I have to use a usb keyboard to operate it. And its old and slow so I can’t even play Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 on it. lol. Oh, and if I win the iMac then I can be cool like my Mac friends. I just have to win it! Just have to! Thanks for the opportunity. 😀
