These cookies are amazing! I just baked a batch, but I used a mixture of chocolate chips and chopped Reese's peanut butter eggs as I'm trying to get rid of some Easter candy. Hands down the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever made!

Hi, i've read some blogs where they suggest to keep the dough in the fridge for awhile before baking. Is it a need to do that for your recipe?

Jenny - I made these this morning and they just didn't come out right I followed the recipe exactly. I am a little confused about the butter. Is the recipe for 1 stick and 1/2 cup of butter or are you just indicating that 1 stick is a half a cup...kind of confusing. I don't know what went wrong. The dough was really crumbly and the cookies didn't stay together. Some of the cookies on the sheet were under cooked and some were over cooked. Ugh, I really wanted these to work!
