Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this apple peanut butter crescent roll recipe at home. See the recipe card located at the bottom of the post for full details.

  • Butter– I generally use salted butter for all of my cooking and baking.
  • Apples– You can use Granny Smith Apples or any of your favorite variety of apple for the recipe.
  • Ground Cinnamon– Ground cinnamon is used in the apples and sprinkled on top of the crescents with sugar.
  • Brown Sugar– Light or dark brown sugar works just fine for the recipe.
  • Crescent Rolls– Find the crescent rolls in the refrigerated section of the grocery store near the canned biscuits and pizza dough.
  • Peanut Butter– Use your favorite creamy peanut butter for the recipe.
  • Granulated Sugar– You’ll use the sugar along with ground cinnamon to sprinkle on top of the crescent rolls.

How To Make Apple Peanut Butter Crescents

Preheat Oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and large skillet over medium heat.

Cook Apples. Add butter to skillet to melt. Stir in apples, cinnamon and brown sugar. Let cook for about 3 minutes. Apples should not be too soft. Remove from heat.

Spread Crescent Rolls With Peanut Butter. Unroll crescents onto a large baking sheet lined with a silpat liner. Spread each crescent evenly with a heaping teaspoon or two of peanut butter.

Fill and Roll Crescent Rolls. Place a spoonful of spiced apples to the wide end of the crescent. Starting at wide end of crescent, start rolling to thin end (see pictures for a visual).

These look so good, and maybe easy enough that even I can make them! 😂 My question is, I want to take them to a gathering tomorrow but won’t have time to make them between work and dinner, so I’m making them tonight to take tomorrow. Are they still ok reheated after being refrigerated? Any advise on the best method of doing so? Thanks, and I can’t wait to taste the results! 😍

Bravo Tina! N’aurait pas pu dire mieux. Couldn’t have said it better! Think I’ll make these for Easter brunch. Bon appetit!

I think everyone needs to realize when they visit someone’s blog/website, that is that persons “home”. Would you go into someone’s home and be unkind, critical or disrespectful? This is Jenny’s “home” and should be treated with respect. If you don’t agree with her, don’t like her recipes, just go back home. Literally, press your home button on your computer and leave. The world wide web is a tremendous place of knowledge and we can all learn so much from it. The one thing that we can’t learn is manners – momma should have taught you that! So that is my two cents!
Have a fab-u-licious day and Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Jackie, why waste your time leaving a rude comment? Nobody is forcing you to make these recipes or feed them to your family. I love the recipes on here and my family is healthy and all of our BMIs are within a normal range. It’s called moderation and being active.

  5. Emily @ Life on Food

These look great and so easy. Totally want this for breakfast and not do an apple pie for Thanksgiving dessert. Do you think anyone would notice?

  6. Karen @ Sugartown Sweets

Yum! Gotta try these..especially with the peanut butter on them! Thanks for all the great recipes. 🙂

Almost all of your recipes are super unhealthy. Why would we cook and feed our families this food on a daily basis? Hello, Type II Diabetes. Feeding your family this food – because they are ‘picky’ – will result in obesity and chronic disease. Not to mention the fact that a lot of recipes that load junk food on top of junk food on top of processed convenience foods is somehow real cooking demonstrates how low the bar has sunk for women interested in feeding their families and “cooking.”

What is wrong w/YOU!! Nobody is forcing you to cook this way, or make these recipes!! There is no need for your derogatory comment!!

Oh and I have been loving your instagram pics! Keep having fun in vegas!!

  9. Tina

My husband will love these since he is a huge peanut butter and apples fan. Do you have any suggestions for making similar without pb for the kids? I was thinking of just the apples or possibly using nutella or biscoff spread?

  10. Rebecca @ Dorm Room Baker

Seems like crescent rolls are the perfect vehicles for recipes like this. Now I really want one for breakfast!
