Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 large Eggland's Best Egg
  • 1 1/2 cups Butterfinger crushed pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place cake mix, butter and egg into a large mixing bowl. Mix well until dough forms. Scoop onto baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes, until baked through. Use a knife to form cookies when removed from oven if desired. Let cool and serve room temperature.

    This recipe needs to be corrected. Some comments that addressed the problem are about 2 yrs old, and still the recipe has not been fixed! I bet these are awesome too. A seasoned cook could figure out the steps needed to fix the errors in the directions but someone new to baking would be lost! Please correct! 🙁

    This recipe was way too dry to even come together with just one egg. I added another egg and just a touch of veg oil, and it was just right for me.

    My absolute favorite cookie. My husband always wants chocolate chips, but he says these are right up there with chocolate chip.

    In the recipe it says to add cake mix, butter and egg. It never says when to add the butterfinger pieces.
    Secondly: scoop onto sheet about 1 inch apart (omitted dough)
    But also “use a knife to form cookies when removed from oven if desired.”

    No offense….but you need to revise your recipe!!

    the written recipe omitted the butterfinger pieces in the instructions. were listed in the ingredients but not the making of the recipe. The video showed it being used.
