Where to start with Cafe Orleans….we had such a great dining experience a few weeks ago. The Cafe is located right in the middle of New Orleans Square close to Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. It is so charming and looks just like the streets of New Orleans in the French Quarter. There is outside inside dining under the shady patio’s blue striped umbrellas and some indoor seating as well. If you choose to sit outside you get a lovely view of the boats on Rivers of America.
As you make your reservation at the desk, this is the area you will be in. Lovely New Orleans architecture.
I had to snap a picture of this beautiful horse on our way to lunch and there is another beautiful shot of a New Orleans style building on the right.
Here’s a glimpse of the outside patio area. Lots of tables and very relaxing environment.
I was oh so grateful that the waitress brought the boys some crayons and activity books. Kept their minds off of how hungry they were:)
We started with these fabulous Pommes Frites. The fries were tossed with Parmesan, garlic, parsley and served with a Cajun Spice Remoulade. Drool!
I almost asked for another sauce, because it was so good. We couldn’t keep our fries out of it
We also shared a bowl of the New Orleans Gumbo. It was a rich, flavorful stew with chicken, andouille sausage and ham, served with Cajun-style “dirty rice”. Very delicious.
My youngest little guy ordered Mickey’s Cheesy Macaroni. It comes with a side of fruit as well. There were zero complaints from him and his mac and cheese
My other son ordered the Chicken Breast with pasta, marinara and a side of fruit. He enjoyed his meal as well.
My dad and I shared a couple entrees including the Chicken Gumbo Crepe. Isn’t it gorgeous? There was asparagus spears, sauteed chicken, andouille sausage, ham and creole gumbo sauce over a soft perfect crepe with some browned seasoned red potatoes. I would order this again for sure.
Some of our beautiful sides.
The famous Monte Cristo Sandwich….finally! I had heard so much about this sandwich and was so excited to finally try it. Can I just say it was definitely worth the wait. Soft fried dough surrounds ham, turkey and cheese then the whole thing is dusted with powdered sugar. You almost just have to try it to understand what I am talking about. They also give you a berry puree sauce to dip. Take a look below.
It’s sweet and salty heaven my friends. Hope you get to try one for yourself!

When we stayed at the Disneyland Resort Hotel back in November, I knew that one of places we had to eat was Goofy’s Kitchen that is located in the Resort. Now, take my advice and learn from our mistake……make your reservation in advance. We walked up to the counter like idiots saying, “Table for 4 please.” The lady looked at us a little funny and said, “You don’t have reservations?” Needless to say we had to wait a good 30-45 minutes for our table, but there was no way I was missing out on breakfast!
Here is the check-in counter. Be prepared for a very long line just to check in. People flock to this place.
Right when the hostess calls your name to be seated, she first gets you ready for a family picture with Goofy. They will take a professional one for you with their camera (and give you a card that you can view online and purchase). They will also take a photo with your camera if you request it.
The hostess shows you to your seat then you go right into the kitchen, grab a plate and get to work.
Ready, set go!
I promise I did not start my breakfast with dessert, but I did photograph it to show you there’s a little bit of everything!
Pretty much anything you could ever want for breakfast is available at Goofy’s Kitchen. Not kidding.
Nicely spiced breakfast potatoes. I am pretty sure I went back for seconds
Little cinnamon rolls were up for grabs too.
I am a huge eggs benedict fan, so I did try one out and it was pretty darn good. Not the best eggs benny I’ve ever had, but it was certainly enjoyable.
I’m a sucker for an omelet bar. I couldn’t believe there was no line when I walked up. Sweet!
Chef busy at work preparing any kind of omelet you like.
I think these were little pumpkin pies, how cute!
Lemon Bars, oh my! I just couldn’t do it for breakfast, but took lots of photos
Chocolate Chip Cookies too! Yowza!
Here’s my plate. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Yum!
The French Toast was great.
My made to order omelet was one of my favorites.
They even had biscuits and gravy. Talk about……there’s no need to eat the rest of the day after this breakfast
Goofy’s Kitchen is a must if you are staying at the Disneyland Resort. It is fun for the whole family and you get the best photos with the Disney Characters with no lines. Love it!

Let the Disneyland restaurant reviews continue Today I will be reviewing the very charming French Market Restaurant in the middle of New Orleans Square, close to Pirates of the Caribbean, the train stop, and The Haunted Mansion. This is one of the nicer restaurants in the park with quite a large seating area outside.
I love the feel of New Orleans Square, it full of festivites. Whether a band is playing, princesses singing, or the sea of people passing by, it’s a great place to be.
Let’s take a look at the menu below….

Disneyland’s Tiki Juice Bar….or just “The Dole Whip Place” as we call it, is one of those special treats in the park that you will wait in a mile long line with a smile on your face because you know it will be worth it! Crazy I know.
The Tiki Juice Bar is located right inside of Adventureland next to the Tiki Room, which is where you can watch a fun musical show that the little ones LOVE. My 6 and 9 year old are a bit over it, but the little ones get a kick out of the singing and dancing birds

Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland is easily one of my favorite places to eat in the park. It is nestled in Critter Country as you walk past Splash Mountain, right before the Winnie The Pooh Ride. I love the beautiful green trees surrounding the restaurant and the view of Rivers of America as you eat. Feels as if you are right in the middle of the wilderness You can eat for roughly under $15.00 per adult.
As you walk through the entry over the bridge you will see a number of cashiers …
