The good folks at Chili’s have offered to give 1 Picky Palate Reader a $50 Gift Card to dine at one of their restaurants!! They also sent my family so we could share our dining experience of Chili’s new menu items with all of you. Here’s how our delicious night of eating went down……….
We started with a cup of their new Chicken Green Chili Soup. Let me just say, my husband and I LOVED this, so much I totally re-created it!! See my recipe HERE.
I know, so naughty, but then we tried their new Loaded Beef Nachos. Um….Incredible 🙂
The boys ordered off of the kids menu, but picked at our food too 🙂
For our main course, we shared the new Carribean Salad, Mini Chicken and Beef Tacos and the Steakhouse Sandwich. We really enjoyed all of these plates, especially the Steakhouse Sandwich. The horseradish dipping sauce was AWESOME!
It wouldn’t have been appropriate had we not ordered dessert, so we ordered their new Brownie Sunday, which was pretty much devoured 🙂 Thanks for a great dining experience Chili’s!!

I generally order the same thing. I often find that if I order something else and don’t love it I wish I would have gone with the old standby!
I always order the same thing, I leave the daring choices to my husband. He’s always adventurous.
I do a little of both.

I am also a google foodie friend.
We love CHILI’S …but tend to order the same menu items and that is why we go….we know it will always be good !
I don’t get to eat out often, so when I go, I usually order what I know I like so I don’t “waste” my eating out.

Good question! A lot of times I’ll order the same thing if it’s at the specific restaurant and I’ve tried it before and know that I like it, but other times I like trying the new items! 😉 Thanks for the lovely giveaway!
it all depends on my mood, but I tend to not drift too far from my favorites cause if I don’t like it, I don’t it eat it. 🙂 My hubby is pretty adventurous though and will order the things I may want to try but am too scared to, lol.
It depends on the restaurant and my mood, but aside from a couple of restaurants where I order the same thing over and over, I like to try something new each time I dine. The chicken and lime soup looks amazing- chili’s and your version too!
