Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Marshmallow Pudding Cookies

I have been on a major cookie kick lately, forgive all of my sweet posts, I will be posting savory dishes soon! Until then, feast your eyes on these perfectly soft, chewy and peanut buttery chocolate cookies. I added a box of chocolate pudding mix to the dough and look out, you are in for a treat.

I used to go to Cold Stone Creamery often when we lived in Arizona and my add ins were always peanut butter, marshmallows and brownie bits. These kinda remind me of my favorite ice cream that I would sneak into the movie theater on hubby and I’s date night. Looking forward to hearing how you guys like these, hope you enjoy!

Have you ever subsituted chocolate pudding mix for cocoa powder in a cake recipe?
I can’t ever find a chocolate cake recipe that I like, and I think its the cocoa powder that gives it a weird taste. I’m thinking about experimenting with using pudding mix instead and wanted to know what you thought?

Two whole sticks of butter? In the picture it looks like 2 halves. Making these today and want to be sure. Thanks!!!

After being married for 5 1/2 years I just found out that my husband doesn’t like marshmallows (WHAT!?!) So I opted to leave those out, but these cookies are delicious! In fact, I just ate 3 of them while sitting here. Moist and delicious! Great recipe! 🙂

These are amazinggg! My new favorite cookie. I’ve put pudding mix into cakes, but in cookies it’s a drug. Dangerously addictive. Thank you for the recipe!

  6. wenDie

OMG! Just made these cookies, and had to order some ingredients off a local website to make them! Totally worth it though!

Ok, I so need to eat these NOW along with everything else posted recently! But we are eating healthy so I am going to stick with my Light Chocolate Crinkles. They are soft and chewy and taste like brownies! I’ll be posting them on my blog soon. http://www.trialanderin.com

I am however going to be trying your stuffed cookies soon. I have some kiddos that will love them…as will I! I’ve been thinking of different things to stuff them with! The possibilities are endless!

Marshmallow! I never thought of putting some of that before. Great idea. I will be making some of this for my kids snack with their friends tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Rose Dipped

This is so mouth watering. I love the marshmallow idea. I never thought of adding some of those even if my kids always ask me to buy marshmallows. Thanks for the yummy recipe.

  10. Sarah

I think I need to get myself one of those baking sheets cause when I made these the marshmallows liquefied, then caramelized and completely stuck to the pan! Not pretty to look at, but they sure did taste delicious. 😛

These look wonderful. If you could gain weight staring at pictures I would be up a few pounds. Gonna have to give these a try.

  12. Leah

I made these this evening and they were *super* yummy. Thanks for sharing! I would just change one thing: treat the marshmallows like m&ms. Meaning, don’t mix them in the batter. Instead, squish them on top of the cookies before putting them in the oven. Much easier to get off the cookie stone/sheet/whatever and they don’t caramelize so much either. YUM!

  13. Suzanne

You weren’t kidding when you said not to leave yourself alone with these babies! My friend brought me a plate of these last night and they are so good! I am definitely keeping this recipe for a rainy day. Yummy!

If I keep printing out your cookie recipes I’m going to quickly gain 50 pounds! But of course, I keep printing . . . in fact, that’s what I’m doing right now . . . these MUST be added to my “Must Make List.” Sigh. I have no self-control.
