Ok, I LOVE this applesauce on the go! It is just a genius idea, wish I would have thought of it.

GoGo Squeeze/Materne is a France based company with an incredible product I know you will love. The good folks at Materne are giving 2 Picky Palate Readers 4 boxes each of their applesauce on the go! That’s 16 pouches.

My boys LOVED this applesauce on the go. I put it in their lunches and they devoured it for after school snack too. They really couldn’t keep their hands off of it. Check out GoGo Squeeze/Materne website to see where you can pick some up near you!!

You’ll see by the pictures below, I had no problem getting the boys to sample this product 🙂

Banana chips-my kids are addicted!! My big tip is DON’T buy it at the store!! (shocker, right?) Thats how I keep them away from the sugar! I don’t bring it in the house. Then, I (I mean, THEY 😉 aren’t tempted!!

My kids have realized everything tastes better with yogurt or caramel!!!!I’ve taught them well!hehehe

Apple slices in Jif On the Go PB — the kids take them to school in their lunch and it’s just the right amount of PB without all the mess. 🙂

To get them to eat anything, I offer…. *drumroll* ….. DIPS! Everything is better when you have something to dip it in. Some of the dips we like are ranch, hummus, salsa, ketchup, Nutella, peanut butter… if you can dip it it’s an instant hit. :o)

I just don’t buy junk. My kid is so used to eating fruit that he’ll go for a banana over a cookie any day. He’s only 3 though so I’m sure that’ll change eventually.

My little guy loves fruits and veggies, it is my husband I have to be tricky with! 🙂 I usually try adding a bunch of bell peppers to everything, since that is what he likes.

We love apple slices, but I always hated cutting them. Getting an apple corer/slicer has made it so much more convenient and we eat apples more often now!

  8. Karla

My daughter loves to dip things, so I get her to eat small chunks of carrots, celery and other raw veggies by giving her a little dollop of lowfat italian dressing to dip them in, and a toothpick to spear them with. She loves it!

Canned fruit is a big hit in our house these days and beats the out of season fresh price and small fruit cups!!

  10. Gina

We love smoothies, veggies with ranch, steamed broccoli, “lincoln logs” (bread smeared w/ pb and rolled into a log shape), fruit cups, etc. Mmmm…now I’m hungry.

Apple slices are always an easy treat. I also make a good chocolate muffin that incorporates egg whites and canned pumpkin. It is healthy and my six year old doesn’t know it!

  12. Tiffany

My 2 year old has been enjoying a mixed nut/seed snack of pistachios, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and sliced almonds. She thinks it’s fun to have so many different options together. Sometimes I add craisins.
