Hope You’re Hungry!

How do you like your burgers? Think you could tackle this massive ½ lb burger? Just like my muffins, I like to make giant burgers too. Don’t try to eat this in one sitting, you could be sick for days!

One of my favorite things about entering cooking contests, is having the opportunity to travel to cool new cities that I may have not gone otherwise. In 2004 and 2006 I was a finalist in the Build A Better Burger Cook-off held in Napa Valley, CA. The cook-off is actually in St Helena which is absolutely gorgeous, so green and beautiful with vinyards on every corner. Since then, one of my very favorite things to cook/create are gourmet burgers. I’ve tried to go back to the small burgers, but they just look so funny! I am determined to get back to that cook-off and try again for the $50K. Third times a charm right?

This burger has all the yummy fixins without the fuss. It’s nothing too unusual, just delicious. Who says grilling is just for the summer? Fire up those grills and enjoy this ½ lb monster burger! Then do lots of cardio, ok maybe run a marathon.
