Choc chip cookies is the favorite for the first day of school – lately (my kids started school already), they have been loving yogurt or apples with peanut butter…

I’m ashamed to say that our FAVORITE go-to after school treat is a granola bar…. nothing homemade at all! 🙁

I don’t have kids, but when I was in school, but favorite after school snack was a hot dog.

My kids LOVE anything chocolate, they especially love choc. chip cookies or smore bars though!

My kids’ favorite snack would be cookies – horrible, I know. But I try to rotate that every other day with fruit.

Our absolute favorite after school snack is chocolate chip cookies! My mom used to bake them for me when I was in school, and I will bake them for my own children!!

Chocolate chip cookes are a given, but I also like to make fresh homemade bread (right out of the oven) or cinnamon toast.

Having boys ages 10-14 snacks have changed quite a bit! Now it is usually a wrap with salami, pepperoni, and ham with a little pesto for a punch of flavor. We save the cookies for snuggling on the couch before bed with a book to read out loud.
