So excited to share my… You HAVE To Eat This At Disneyland California. Sweets, treats and so much more included in my list. Let’s get started!

You Have To Eat This at Disneyland

One of my favorites at the Resort is this Churro Ice Cream Sandwich.  You find this beauty right in Downtown Disney District, located at a churro carts across from the big Lego Store and another located by World of Disney.  You have to assemble it yourself, but that didn’t stop me from savoring every bite.  The churro rounds are warm and the ice cream is one of the best vanilla ice creams I’ve had.  Don’t miss this one!  You can get this churro sammy at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom as well at Sleepy Hollow.

Be sure to check out my Instagram page for information on all of the latest EATS at the Parks!

The Monte Cristo is up next.  This is a warm fried sandwich with ham and cheese inside, dusted with powdered sugar.  Sounds kinda bizarre right?  Somehow it just works.  You dip it in a fruit spread that makes each bite a dream.  This is a HUGE sandwich, could easily share between 2 or 3 people.  Keep in mind it’s very rich, a few bites and I’m good.  We get ours from Cafe Orleans, however Blue Bayou has them too 🙂

You Have To Eat This at Disneyland

Mickey Waffles make me so happy!  You can find this fun breakfast plate from Carnation Cafe on Main Street U.S.A.  Love!!

There’s no limit how many churros one can have at Disneyland, right?!  We have been known to enjoy our fair share, lol!  Love these all….day…long 🙂 Numerous locations throughout Disneyland Park and California Adventure.  Keep an eye out for specialty churros that show up during Holidays at the Parks!

You Have To Eat This At Disneyland

Corndog fans know that you do not miss corndogs from Little Red Wagon on Main Street U.S.A.  The best crispy corndogs around.  You can also find these at Corndog Castle in California Adventure, Paradise Pier.

If you are talking to my husband, this Chocolate Dipped Cone from California Adventure’s Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land is his favorite thing at the parks.  It’s pretty amazing and not to be missed!

You Have To Eat This at Disneyland

The Pomme Frites from Cafe Orleans are one of my all-time favorites.  The dipping sauce is good enough to drink.  Order an extra side of it for sure 🙂

You Have To Eat This at Disneyland

Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop from California Adventure is a must visit.  This is the Crissy Field Cookie Bits Sundae…cookies and cream ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream and chocolate chip cookie crumbles on top!  Oh Em Geeee.

I don’t know what took me so long to order these amazing Lobster Nachos from Lamplight Lounge located on Pixar Pier, Disney California Adventure Park.  Don’t miss these bad boys!  Piled high and flavor packed.

You Have to Eat this at Disneyland

The Dole Whip is an “order every single Disneyland Park visit” kind of treat.  This is the Dole Float…my personal favorite 🙂  Located at the Tiki Juice Bar in Disneyland Park’s Adventureland.  There’s a second line as you walk through the Enchanted Tiki Room entrance, it’s typically a much less wait.  Be sure to check it out!

The beloved Turkey Leg!!!  Maybe a little awkward walking around the park with a giant drumstick, however grab a fork and dig in.  I prefer to sit at a table with a fork and knife to share it.  It’s bigger than it appears in the photo.  Find these at numerous locations around the park.  This one is from Edelweiss Snacks in Fantasyland.

The Fried Chimichanga…it just works at Disneyland.  My kids especially love it.  Also from Edelweiss Snacks in Fantasyland…or other locations throughout the parks.

LOL!!! I basically was laughing the whole way down because each thing looked more delicious and decadent than the last. But I am stuck on that first bite of peanut butter and chocolate- yeeessssss.

We were at DL about 3 weeks ago. We tried many of the items on this list. I do have to say, I was extremely disappointed in the Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans. Maybe we hit an off day or something, but there was very little meat/cheese in our and it was just OKAY at best. There just really wasn’t much flavor to it. The Parmesan fries though, oh man, they were AMAZING!!!

I am visiting Disneyland this week and after reading this post I knew I had to have the peanut butter graham cracker from Pooh Corner. I was so disappointed to discover they don’t have them anymore. They actually didn’t have any of the treats from Pooh Corner that are on this list 🙁 No fried green tomato sandwich at The Hungry Bear either. I’m hoping I can still track down some of the other yummy food on this list!

Oh no!! My husband will be there in March and I really wanted to try those treats from Pooh’s Corner. What a bummer 🙁 oh well, the other things on the list look amazing too. I know I won’t be able to try everything. There are some things I HAVE to have every time I go; lobster nachos from Cove Bar, Mickey waffles, churros, corn dogs, and the clam chowder in a bread bowl! Can’t wait!!

The peanut butter sandwich is still there. I saw it on this site, and I’ve gotten a couple times, with a year in between☺️ Still there, and yummy as ever!

Unfortunately, a few of these aren’t available anymore.
I know for sure that the mini churros with the chocolate are gone. They were replaced with regular churros and a caramel – I find it sickeningly sweet ?
The fried green tomato sandwich has been gone for a while. There are rumors that it will show up in another restaurant, but it hasn’t been around since September-ish.

Several of these are absolute MUSTS for me whenever I go to Disneyland! 😉 I always ALWAYS make a reservation at Blue Bayou for the Monte Cristo, the Gibson Girl Parlor is generally a stop for a sundae while I wait for a parade, love me some Mickey waffles, and I never miss a chance to get a Dole Whip. There’s a few on here I’ve put on my list to try, like the fries at Cafe Orleans. I will admit, though, that I was incredibly unimpressed with the famous turkey legs. I found them to be dry and fairly tasteless, not worth the hype in the slightest. Most Disney food is amazing. The turkey legs had me quite underwhelmed.

Try the Mickey raspberry rose macaroon at Jolly Holiday. To die for!

You left off the best of all…the chicken dinner at The Plaza Inn.

    Rebecca says:

My favorite at DisneyWorld, my absolute had to have, was always the Mickey Rice Krispie treat. You can get it in multiple sizes, with a chocolate dipped back, with sprinkles……so many options. Found at most of the sweet shops, I’m sure they have to have them at Disneyland as well!!

    Christina says:

Okay I just have to know! Where did you get those super cute gladiator sandals?! I bought some from Amazon and I love them but yours are way cuter!!

    JoAnn says:

    Fabulous pics. Thanks so much.

    Cathy says:

The Fried Green Tomato sandwich HAS left the Hungry Bear. I did some research, the sandwich IS at Cafe Orleans. A source (hostess) said they changed the recipe a bit. Said if I loved the original I would be disappointed. The price is $15 or $19? I was a bit shocked! It’s easy to fall in love with food items at Disneyland, most so yummy. Like the park the food changes with the times & latest ttends. I loved the Tuna Salad with Thousand Island dressing & trimmings at the Plaza Inn, it’s been long gone but I still remember it.

Sooooo sad the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich isn’t at Cafe Orleans anymore, either! They do, however, have an AMAZING Cauliflower sandwich at the Red Rose Taverne (use to be Geppettos). For reals, it is a MUST try.
The good news is the Hungry Bear has changed their onion rings recipe and it is OUT of this world!

Can you get the churro ice Cream Sandwich on Disneyland California Adventure side?

Any list the doesn’t include the clam chowder bowl in New Orleans Square cannot be considered complete or well researched.

The giant dill pickles are a must for me!! 1 a day for sure! Can’t live without them?

    Aloha Grambi says:

We miss the Tigger tails. When I heard about them I thought oh no … too much sugar for me but … then I tried one! It was 3 marshmallows on a stick that is then dipped in white chocolate dyed orange with orange flavoring and then milk chocolate is drizzled across to make them look like his tail. So good!

    Jacquelin says:

You forgot about the caramel French toast at story tellers!!! It’s our favorite breakfast!!!!! The huevos rancheros is so good too!!!
