This easy brownie recipe gives a boxed brownie mix a major facelift! These indulgent peanut butter brownies are swirled with strawberry jelly and so delicious.
Good Monday everyone!
Here is a brownie treat that makes me happy just typing about it. It’s no surprise that I LOVE jazzing up those brownie mixes, so here is another easy easy recipe that gives box mixes a major facelift! I’ve tried peanut butter and jelly in so many recipes, but had yet to try it swirled into brownies. Talk about heaven sent! You gotta try it. I splurged and bought this really cool chocolate bar brownie pan from William Sonoma last week (scroll down for pic and link). The brownies turned out even cuter than I thought they would, they look just like little chocolate bars. Use any 9×13 inch pan for this recipe if you don’t have this particular pan.
Forgive my overabundance of pictures in this post, the brownies were just so photogenic! Take a peek and enjoy!
LOVE this new Chocolate Bar Brownie Pan from William Sonoma!
1 brownie mix of choice 9×13 size
1/2 Cup peanut butter, heated in microwave for 20 seconds or so until softened
3/4 Cup strawberry preserves
1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips
2-3 Tablespoons heavy cream
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions; pour into greased 9×13 inch pan (or cute pan from William Sonoma). Swirl peanut butter evenly over brownies then place dollops of strawberry preserves evenly over top. Take a butter knife and swirl peanut butter and jelly throughout brownie batter without over swirling. Bake for 25-28 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from center of pan. Let cool completely then cut into squares.
2. Place chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals until smooth. Stir in cream until shiny and smooth; return back to microwave for 15 seconds if needed. Drizzle over top of brownies.
