How To Make Reese’s Pieces Cookies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Cream Butter and Sugars. Place butter, shortening and sugars in a bowl or stand mixer and mix until smooth and creamy. Slowly beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined.

Add Dry Ingredients and Stir. Place flour, oats, baking soda and salt in bowl, mix slowly until dough forms. Add Reese’s Pieces and chocolate chips to bowl. Stir until combined.

Do I Have To Use The Shortening In The Recipe?

You are welcome to substitute butter for the shortening in the recipe. The cookies may have a slightly texture than what is pictured here, but they’ll still be delicious.

Scoop Cookie Dough Onto Baking Sheet. Use a medium to large cookie scoop and place cookie dough balls onto parchment lined baking sheet at least 1 inch apart.

Bake for 8-10 minutes until just golden around edges. Remove and let cool on baking sheet. Add additional Reese’s Pieces to top of hot cookies if desired. Gently press them into the soft cookies before they cool.
