1poundthin spaghetti noodles
3tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
1heaping cup finely chopped white onion
1tablespoonminced garlic
2cupscookedchopped chicken
12strips cooked baconcut into small pieces
8ouncesheavy cream or whole milk
1/2cupfresh grated parmesan cheese
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/4teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
2cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and lightly spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside for a few minutes.
Heat oil in large dutch oven over medium heat. Saute onions and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in chicken and bacon, cooking for another 5 minutes. Add cooked pasta, heavy cream, parmesan, salt and pepper. Transfer half of the pasta to prepared baking dish. Top with 1/2 of the shredded cheese. Top with remaining pasta and remaining cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and pasta hot. Remove from oven and serve warm.
