1/2cupgranulated sugar
2large eggs
1tablespoonpure vanilla extract
2cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspoonkosher salt
1cupchocolate chunksI use the Trader Joe's chocolate block and chop myself
1cupReese's Pieces
1 1/2cupMini Peanut Butter Cupsfound at Trader Joe's
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place one of the sticks of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat to melt. Swirl and cook until bubbly and turns deep golden brown. Takes close to 10 minutes, but watch carefully swirling pan often to check color. Once butter has burned brown, pour into a heat proof bowl, scraping brown bits from pan into the bowl. Let cool for 15 minutes.
Place brown butter and regular stick of softened butter into a large mixing bowl or stand mixer. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar mixing until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla mixing until well combined. Add flour, baking soda and salt stirring until dough forms then add chocolate chunks, Reese's Pieces and mini peanut butter cups. Scoop dough onto baking sheet...you can do large 1/4 cup dough size balls onto the baking sheet or regular size scooped dough. If making the large cookies, place dough 2 inches apart from each other. If making regular size scooped cookie dough pieces, place 1 inch apart. For the large cookies, bake for 12-13 minutes. For regular size cookies bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before transferring.
