Equipment

  • Oven
  • parchment paper
  • baking sheet
  • Pizza Cutter

Ingredients

  • 8 count Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 24 Lit'l Smokies
  • 24 fresh or jarred jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll crescent rolls onto parchment paper lined countertop area. Carefully use a pizza cutter or knife to cut each crescent roll into 3 even triangles. Using a paper towel, dry the lit'l smokies and jalapenos. This helps them not slide around the dough.
  • Place lit'l smokies on top of widest end of each piece of crescent dough. Top smokies with a jalapeño and carefully roll smokies and jalapeño in dough until you reach the smallest end of triangle gently pressing ends to seal. Take each rolled smokie and roll in a small bowl of grated parmesan until well coated. Transfer to prepared lined baking pan. Continue until all pigs in a blanket have been rolled. Place about 1 inch apart from each other on pan and bake for 18-22 minutes, until golden on top and baked through. Remove from oven and serve hot with dipping sauces of your choice.
