Ingredients

  • Can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls 5 count with icing
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat waffle iron, making sure it's hot before cooking.
  • Melt butter in a heat proof bowl in the microwave for about 60 seconds, or until melted. Remove, stir butter and place bowl close to waffle iron.
  • Place sugar and cinnamon into a medium size shallow bowl, stirring to combine. Place bowl close to melted butter and waffle iron.
  • Carefully open can of cinnamon rolls, separating each roll onto a plate near waffle iron. Remove icing and massage to loosen. Set aside for later.
  • Spray waffle iron lightly with cooking spray for each cinnamon roll waffle. Place one cinnamon roll at a time into waffle maker. Close lid and let cook. Each waffle maker will be slightly different, so check doneness after about 1 minute. Rolls should be golden brown and cooked through. When done, remove rolls and carefully dip each side into melted butter, then dip/sprinkle each side with cinnamon sugar mixture. Drizzle each waffle with icing and serve warm.
