Ingredients
Can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls5 count with icing
1stick salted butter
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1 1/2teaspoonsground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat waffle iron, making sure it's hot before cooking.
Melt butter in a heat proof bowl in the microwave for about 60 seconds, or until melted. Remove, stir butter and place bowl close to waffle iron.
Place sugar and cinnamon into a medium size shallow bowl, stirring to combine. Place bowl close to melted butter and waffle iron.
Carefully open can of cinnamon rolls, separating each roll onto a plate near waffle iron. Remove icing and massage to loosen. Set aside for later.
Spray waffle iron lightly with cooking spray for each cinnamon roll waffle. Place one cinnamon roll at a time into waffle maker. Close lid and let cook. Each waffle maker will be slightly different, so check doneness after about 1 minute. Rolls should be golden brown and cooked through. When done, remove rolls and carefully dip each side into melted butter, then dip/sprinkle each side with cinnamon sugar mixture. Drizzle each waffle with icing and serve warm.
