Ingredients
1stick unsalted butter softened
1 1/4cupsgranulated sugar
1/2cupsour cream
1 1/4cupsmashed bananas about 3 large ripe bananas
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
1 1/2cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonground cinnamon
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspoonkosher salt
6Oreo Cookiescrushed
1cupprepared caramel sauce
Icing
3cupspowdered sugar
1/2cupheavy creammaybe a couple drizzles more
3Oreo Cookiesfinely crushed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a half sheet baking pan with parchment paper.
Place butter, sugar, sour cream into a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, beat until well combined. Add, mashed bananas, mixing until well combined. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and crushed Oreos, mixing until well combined. Transfer to prepared baking pan, spreading evenly. Drizzle prepared caramel sauce over top of cake and run a knife through to swirl through. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until baked through. Remove from oven and prepare icing.
To prepare icing, place powdered sugar into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle in heavy cream whisking to combine. Whisk until thin, you may need to drizzle in more heavy cream until a nice drizzling consistency.
Drizzle icing over warm cake and spread evenly. Top with finely crushed Oreo crumbs and let cool before serving.
