Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cups mashed bananas about 3 large ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 Oreo Cookies crushed
  • 1 cup prepared caramel sauce

Icing

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream maybe a couple drizzles more
  • 3 Oreo Cookies finely crushed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a half sheet baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Place butter, sugar, sour cream into a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, beat until well combined. Add, mashed bananas, mixing until well combined. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and crushed Oreos, mixing until well combined. Transfer to prepared baking pan, spreading evenly. Drizzle prepared caramel sauce over top of cake and run a knife through to swirl through. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until baked through. Remove from oven and prepare icing.
  • To prepare icing, place powdered sugar into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle in heavy cream whisking to combine. Whisk until thin, you may need to drizzle in more heavy cream until a nice drizzling consistency.
  • Drizzle icing over warm cake and spread evenly. Top with finely crushed Oreo crumbs and let cool before serving.
