Ok, I LOVE this applesauce on the go! It is just a genius idea, wish I would have thought of it.
GoGo Squeeze/Materne is a France based company with an incredible product I know you will love. The good folks at Materne are giving 2 Picky Palate Readers 4 boxes each of their applesauce on the go! That’s 16 pouches.
My boys LOVED this applesauce on the go. I put it in their lunches and they devoured it for after school snack too. They really couldn’t keep their hands off of it. Check out GoGo Squeeze/Materne website to see where you can pick some up near you!!
You’ll see by the pictures below, I had no problem getting the boys to sample this product

Yogurt and apple sauce

My son’s favorite snack is apple sauce. He even picks out the different flavored ones. His last one was blueberry/pomegranate. I find if I narrow things down to a few healthy options and let him pick he will devour whatever it is.
frozen fruit such as grapes and bananas taste soooo good

I’m leaving to go buy almond paste right now!!
I tell my kids they can have one fruit snack a day, but let them pick when they eat it. I also put out a muffin tin full of snack choices where they can reach it. The tin will have a couple “sweets” but mostly cheese, frut, etc.
I can get my kids to try any healthy snack as long as I put a spin on it. carbeurators, tire wheels, magic wands, etc.
We love freeze-dried fruit around here. Also whole-grain thin rice cakes (which I’m pleading with the grocery store not to quit carrying) with peanut or sunflower butter or Nutella.

Both my loves will eat any fruit any time of day. If only I could get them to eat their veggies! I’m the mom who mushes up veggies and mixes it in with their fruit to get some greens in. What’s a mom to do?
Luckily I don’t need any tips for getting my kids to eat a healthy snack – they would pick a piece of fruit, or even veggies with ranch over candy or cookies any day of the week.

Good old fashion popcorn! Kiddos also like hummus and carrots. Costco now carries little self-sealed portable hummus for their lunch boxes!
i think a big thing is to let them know the parents (both) like the food.

apples and PB are a hit here!

My daughter will eat anything that looks like a dip. So I have pureed many veggies and added them to other dips or just as is. She loves it!
My kiddo’s love baby carrots. Clementine Cutes are another big hit.
rice cakes with peanut butter on them
I don’t have kids, but I am always trying to find ways to sneak more healthy stuff into my diet. I have a terrible sweet tooth.
I put cheerios in my yogurt because a friend at work did the same thing. I love yogurt but didn’t eat that much because it was too smooth and I need to have a “crunch” when I’m eating.
My boy is only 6 mo. old, so not quite ready for this applesauce (shortly!) but my hubby takes applesauce in his lunch everyday…this would be great for him!
I’m already a Google reader friend!
All my kids are big on smoothies…for breakfast and after school snack.
fruit crisps or graham crackers….since she’s only 1.
