Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this apple peanut butter crescent roll recipe at home. See the recipe card located at the bottom of the post for full details.
- Butter– I generally use salted butter for all of my cooking and baking.
- Apples– You can use Granny Smith Apples or any of your favorite variety of apple for the recipe.
- Ground Cinnamon– Ground cinnamon is used in the apples and sprinkled on top of the crescents with sugar.
- Brown Sugar– Light or dark brown sugar works just fine for the recipe.
- Crescent Rolls– Find the crescent rolls in the refrigerated section of the grocery store near the canned biscuits and pizza dough.
- Peanut Butter– Use your favorite creamy peanut butter for the recipe.
- Granulated Sugar– You’ll use the sugar along with ground cinnamon to sprinkle on top of the crescent rolls.
How To Make Apple Peanut Butter Crescents
Preheat Oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and large skillet over medium heat.
Cook Apples. Add butter to skillet to melt. Stir in apples, cinnamon and brown sugar. Let cook for about 3 minutes. Apples should not be too soft. Remove from heat.
Spread Crescent Rolls With Peanut Butter. Unroll crescents onto a large baking sheet lined with a silpat liner. Spread each crescent evenly with a heaping teaspoon or two of peanut butter.
Fill and Roll Crescent Rolls. Place a spoonful of spiced apples to the wide end of the crescent. Starting at wide end of crescent, start rolling to thin end (see pictures for a visual).
Sprinkle With Cinnamon Sugar. Sprinkle tops with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Bake. Bake for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes then serve warm.
Recipe Tips For Success
- Use Silpat or Parchment Paper. To prevent sticking, use a silpat liner or parchment paper over your baking sheet.
- Use a Tart Apple. Use Granny Smith Apples for a nice tart apple that is perfect with the sweet filling.
- Try Topping With Ice Cream. Use your favorite vanilla ice cream to scoop on top of the warm baked crescents.
How To Serve
Serve these easy to make apple peanut butter crescent rolls warm. Try sprinkling with powdered sugar and even topping with vanilla ice cream for an even sweeter treat.
Leftovers
Store any leftover crescent rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating Instructions
For best re-heating results, place crescent rolls in the air fryer at 350 degrees F. for 3-5 minutes, until hot and crisp.

- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
