Why oh why do I find it so much fun to play around with Oreo cookies? I would seriously have so much fun writing an Oreo Cookie Cookbook, hmmm maybe someday! I just love adding these darn cookies in all kinds of desserts and this one is no exception. If you’ve got a girls night, family party, Bunco party or whatever, try these bad boys out on everyone and watch them disappear!
Hope you all will enjoy. No excuses for not trying these folks, they have a whopping 5 ingredients and take a whole 5 minutes to prepare! A word to the wise: save one pretty little treat for yourself and give the rest away or you will find yourself eating the WHOLE pan!
Cookies and Cream Rice Crispy Treats
4 Tablespoons Butter
4 Cups mini marshmallows
8 Cups rice crispy cereal
8 oz bag mini Oreo cookies
1/2 Cup chocolate chips, melted
1. Place butter and marshmallows into a large microwavable bowl. Microwave for a few minutes until marshmallows puff up nice and large. Remove and stir in cereal and Oreos. Pour into a large 9×13 inch baking dish. With the back of a large spoon that’s sprayed with cooking spray press and smooth treats. Drizzle melted chocolate over top and let cool. Cut into squares.

These look so good! We used to have these at the bakery in my college dorm and I have tried to stay away from them since because they can do some serious damage:)
Rice krispie treats are pretty perfect by themselves, but adding oreos and chocolate drizzle on top elevates them to a new level!

what a simple idea, but it’s totally over-the-top yummy.
These look absurdly delicious!!
Dear Anonymous,
Thanks for your brutally honest opinion, but in my defense I’ve made rice crispy treats for years and know that these didn’t turn out dry. Sorry, but I’ll kindly disagree on this one.
Two of my favorite sweets in one, they sound amazing!
Those look so easy and delicious!! Oreo’s are my favorite as well…especially double stuffed
What a great variation of a classic treat, especially for Oreo lovers!
Dear Jenny,
I’m sorry if my comment was considered brutal, please know that this was not my intent. I thought that this dessert was an awesome idea, and I have no doubt that your rice krispies probably turned out gooey and delicious! But due to climate changes, humidity, and variations in the brand of products one uses, any recipe can turn out just a little different. I just wanted to offer my opinion to others who maybe making these in the future. I’m sorry for any offense that was taken, I think the majority of your recipes are great and I wish you all the best. Thank you.
WOW! WOW! I actually have to make krispies tonight for my son’s T-ball team and I am going with these…Thanks for the post!
So much for fitting in my wedding dress!
yum! My 7 year old and I made these together! I added butterscotch chips to half of the pan because my husband LOVES butterscotch! It also seemed to give them a “haloween” look! fun! Thanks for posting this recipe!
