Ok, I LOVE this applesauce on the go! It is just a genius idea, wish I would have thought of it.

GoGo Squeeze/Materne is a France based company with an incredible product I know you will love. The good folks at Materne are giving 2 Picky Palate Readers 4 boxes each of their applesauce on the go! That’s 16 pouches.

My boys LOVED this applesauce on the go. I put it in their lunches and they devoured it for after school snack too. They really couldn’t keep their hands off of it. Check out GoGo Squeeze/Materne website to see where you can pick some up near you!!

You’ll see by the pictures below, I had no problem getting the boys to sample this product 🙂

Twitter one more time. I don’t know if it’s the healthiest snack ever, but my niece loves to eat mozzarella cheese sticks with hard pretzels.

Twitter again. I have to say, I LOVE your ideas for getting picky eaters to eat. Sometimes picky eating is enough to make you pull your hair out!

I just packed this is my daughter’s lunch today! She loves them. If you don’t mind me mentioning the competition, Trader Joe’s has “Apple Crushers” that are the same thing at a lower price!

cutting things into shapes always seems to do the trick. Also, apple butter spread on things seems to work too! Even on celery…they love it!

Smoothies!! I hide EVERYTHING in smoothies… a variety of fruits, carrot juice, flax seed, wheat germ, yogurt… it is definitely my secret weapon for getting some healthy goodness into my picky boys! 🙂

I buy “Squish Ems” for my little guy, which are basically the same as these. He loves them! Other than that, fresh fruit is always a winner, as well as raisins. I also freeze yogurt tubes and call them “freezies” so he things they are a great treat as well! Sometimes I buy the applesauce tubes and freeze those too.

My kids love those Brothers All Natural Freeze dried fruits. You can get them at Costco. The ingredients are only whatever fruit it is like Apples, Strawberries Banana’s and Pears. They are so yummy and a full serving of fruit.

We have a rule at our house that if you had a sweet/non-healthy snack the day before then that day has to be a healthy snack. It has helped our 6 yr old not to ask for cookies or other junk every day. He knows the schedule of what day is what. Also if he is allowed a non-healthy snack it is only once a day – either his afternoon or evening snack but not both.

Foodie Friend! My son loves Pop Tarts so I buy the extra fiber ones made with whole wheat.

Twitter one more time! He’s also allergic to casein, which is in milk, so to help with his calcium I just recently found calcium added applesauce.

my son also likes small cans of low sodium tomato juice. He thinks its a special “treat”

My 19 month old is cracker obsessed so I make sure that I buy whole wheat crackers whenever possible and then I give him a baby food veggies puree to “dip” them in and I spoon feed him the rest. Some veggies is better than no veggies!

Thanks for all of your posts with great recipes, giveaways, and ideas. Do chocolate chip cookies made with whole wheat flour count as a healthy snack? 🙂
