I know, I know, I have an issue with making Magic Shell
I’ve almost got it out of my system, lol! I just couldn’t resist doing a Peanut Butter version, you know?
Sit back and enjoy a nice drippy ice cream cone this summer!
Start with some creamy dreamy peanut butter then microwave it for about 20 seconds to thin.
A little drizzle of vegetable oil.
There we go, nice and creamy.
I used these Mini Peanut Butter cups that I quartered, but you can chop up regular size ones if you’d like.
Add those little cups to your peanut butter and mix.
Break out your favorite cones.
We kinda like these sugar cones
Scoop your ice cream on top and drizzle with your magic shell!
Happy happy boy

So simple!
This sounds SO GOOD! And so easy to do. My family is coming to visit this weekend and I think I’ll make this for them to enjoy
Hope you enjoy Megan!!
I’m loving all your magic shell recipes lately!
Such a great idea Jenny and it’s not wonder your sweeties are smiling
I recently tried both the chocolate and the cookies and cream Magic Shell and they were both a hit! I’ve also considered making it with butterscotch chips, but didn’t think of peanut butter! Yum! Does this actually harden though? (I would think peanut butter chips would harden better than real peanut butter, although that might not be as tasty.)
Hi Terri, it doesn’t get as crunchy as the chocolate and cookies and cream version, but it does harden up. I place it back in the freezer for a few minutes after I pour it on the ice cream to help it out a little
Can’t go wrong with this, at all! Looks delish, Jenny!
This is such a fun summer treat- love it!
I love all of your magic shell recipes!
Thanks Deborah! Hope you are doing well!
Ha…love your little taste tester! Bet he totally enjoyed helping out!
Yah, he didn’t complain much
BOOYAH! I’m not the biggest chocolate topping fan. It’s yummy and fun, just not my favorite topping. Peanut Butter on the other hand, well we were meant to be together, forever.
Yah, I feel the same way Carrian!!
Best photos ever with the ice cream dripping down the sides of the cone onto his hand! That’s how ice cream should be. Bring on all the Magic Shell you want. They all look so yummy.
Keep writing…
Thank you Kathleen!! xoxo
Oh, heaven! If I was making this, I’m not sure how many of those little Reese’s minis would make it into the magic shell. I kind of have a problem!
I do too Jen!! Lol!
I am Peanut Butter fan, I think that would be delicious with the Whipped Peanut Butter. Yum!
Now THIS is my kind of magic shell
With Reese’s Minis????? HELL YES!
I love all these magic shell recipes! They look so delish and simple which is the best part!!! I love anything simple

I am obsessed with magic shell. I know just what to do with this. It is calling for chocolate ice cream.
Oh yah!!!
[...] wouldn’t trust myself anywhere near this Peanut Butter Cup Magic Shell. [...]
I’m thinking it would harden a little more if you use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil.
