Sharing my review of Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival 2018!
Had the opportunity to attend the Media Day for the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival March 2nd and got to sample so many of the amazing menu items! I’m thrilled to share my favorites of my day around the Park along with the menu options available. The Festival runs March 2nd- April 12, 2018. Please note I will not be reviewing the alcohol portion of the festival.
Got all checked in for the event Friday afternoon, was so excited to see all of the amazing menu items available this year! I’m a huge fan of the Food and Wine Festival every year, it’s been a tradition of ours for the past few years.
The merchandise is absolutely adorable. Be sure to check out the many things available this year.
LA Style Marketplace had some amazing menu items!
So many great options here. I’ve had the Korean BBQ Beef Short Rib Tacos and they are absolutely AMAZING. Definitely order those along with the Teriyaki Chicken Slider. Bot excellent.
Fell in love with the Mexican Chocolate Custard cups. A sweet pudding like cup with a sweet/slightly salty whipped cream and chocolate espresso bean on top. This was another winner from the LA Style Marketplace.
I was so excited for the Peppers Cali-Ente Marketplace!
Look at these options!!!
One of my very favorite menu items of the whole day was this Jalapeño Popper Mac and Cheese. So many amazing flavors packed into this mac! Don’t miss this one.
Another favorite of my day was the the Watermelon Lemonade with Tajin around the rim. Literally amazing, try it for sure!
Sampled the Verlasso Sustainable Salmon Peruvian Poke with Cucumber-Lime Salad and Aji Verde Salsa. So fresh and delicious.
I knew I’d love this Marketplace with a name like Strawberry Patch!
Love these menu options!
Got to sample this gorgeous Watsonville Strawberry Pie. It was delicious. Two thumbs up from me.
The most popular menu item of the Festival is this gorgeous Strawberry and Coconut Rice ‘Frushi’ with Sweet Oikos Greek Nonfat Yogurt Wasabi Sauce. You have to try this one. I was a fan.
Avocado Time Marketplace was very popular. LOTS of people in line excited to try the menu items such as the Avocado and Pepper Jack Petit Guacamole Burger below.
It was as delicious as it sounds. I’d order this bad boy again.
This is the Spiced Oumph! on Pita with Avocado Hummus and Garlic Sauce. There was also an Avocado Ice Cream Bar available.
Loved the Eat Your Greens Marketplace!
The Grilled Asparagus Caesar Salad was crazy good. I recommend trying this one!
Got to try just about everything on the Citrus Grove Marketplace Menu!
This is the Crispy Orange Chicken and Rice with a Garlic Cracker. It was good, but I would recommend the other two items I tried before this one.
The Meyer Lemon Macaron was delicious. Nice and sweet lemon macaron with blueberry in the very center. Would order this one again.
My favorite was the Citrus-Brined Pork Roast with Tangy BBQ Sauce and Lemon Pepper Slaw. So flavorful and a winner in my book.
Didn’t get to try the savory items here, but did try the whoopie pie.
The Bourbon-Chocolate Whoopie Pie was as good as it looks. Great sweet option at the Festival.
Because two is better than one? Lol! Loved this one.
Another popular Marketplace was Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo.
Delicious menu items!
The Grilled Harris Ranch Beef Tenderloin Slider with Chimichurri Sauce was AMAZING!!
The Salt and Beer Vinegar Parmesan Chicken Wings were a hit. Really flavorful.
Also tried the Orange-Vanilla Cream Float with Whipped Cream. So so good. The little cake squares on top were amazing too!
Off The Cob Marketplace had some great menu options as well.
Got to try the Caramel Popcorn Crispy Treat. I liked this one, great flavors!
Garlic!!
Tried the Creamy Mac and Cheese with Garlic Bread Crumble. Yes, Yes Yes to this mac. You won’t be disappointed.
The Nuts About Cheese Marketplace is located in Hollywood Land.
Lots of great options here. This was one of the very few Marketplaces I did not sample, but CHEESE is always a great choice if you ask me 🙂
Over in the backlot of Hollywood Land, Jr. Chef Takes place! Kids get to join Chef Goofy on stage for some fun cooking!
Schedule through April 12th 2018. Cast members are also handing out fun paper chef hats through the Festival dates. It was fun seeing family’s walking around sporting their chef hats.
Hey Chef Goofy! He was getting ready to go on stage with the kids.
Right next to Monsters Inc in Hollywood Land, look for signs that say AP and you can pick up your AP Food and Wine Festival Button! You’ll need to show your AP to the Cast Member to get your button.

Do I pay additional $$$ at food booths even though I pay for the pass? Or is it like a punch thing where I can have so many dishes buying the pass?
I love Food and Wine Festival at WDW…this makes me want to take a trip to CA and try Disneyland’s Food and Wine Fest. Thank you for the great reviews!
