I love Chinese Pork Dumplings! Soo yummy 🙂 My friend’s mom used to make them every New Year’s Eve and I couldn’t get enough of them.

  2. Thanks a lot for the giveaway.

I´m in a major fried rice phase right now, and I would love to explore a little bit more into chinese recipes, so this is perfect!

If it´s ok with you, I´m sharing this giveaway in my blog.

  5. i know it’s cliche, but i just adore fried rice! based on the photos that’s actually pretty similar to how my mom makes it, but since i’m asian-food-illiterate in the kitchen it would be great to have a cookbook!

My favorite chinese, if I have to pick one, crab rangoon!! This cook book looks awesome, and if I’m not lucky enough to win, it will be making an apperance on my Christmas list!

  8. YUM! i love dim sum! my mom and i used to go almost weekly when i was younger, and it was always a special treat for us! har gow and shu mai are my favs, as well as the rice rolls with shrimp! as for meals, stir fry bok choy with beef or really, any kind of stir fry is my favorite! luckily i love veggies and so does my hubby, so a stir fry with snow peas or bok choy is always an easy recipe to go to when i can’t decide what to make for dinner!

  9. My favorite Chinese meal is sweet and sour chicken over sticky white rice. The best thing ever! Where I live we have zero Chinese restaurants, so this is a serious indulgence when we are out of town!

  50. kate metzner

sweet and sour boneless pork! or chicken chow mein. (as a kid, my dad would also refere to these dishes as “sharks blood” and “hay”)…I have actaully mistakenly ordered this way from at a restaurant…You should have seen the looks I got!

  51. There was a local Chinese restaurant back home in Northern CA that served a cashew chicken chow mein dish….it was TO DIE FOR! I miss it all the time, and always make sure to get my fill when I go up there to visit my parents.

  52. Dorothy Gibson

I love spicy chicken-stir fried chicken and jalapenos. Shrimp fried rice also. Not much I don’t like.

  53. Lynette Cruz

I love butterfly shrimp, its shrimp with onions and it has a brown sauce, reminds me of when i was a kid and I would go shopping on 34th st in manhattan with her and there was a chinese restaurant across the street that you had to walk up the stairs, they gave you tea in the little cups and food came out on those silver platters covered! Great memories! I follow you on fb,twitter and newsletter

  54. VickiT

As long as it’s done correctly my favorite is Hot and Sour Soup. I’m very picky however and it seems each restaurant tweaks their recipe just a bit. Currently there is only one place in our area that I will order it from and even then ONLY if one specific cook is working that night. LOL

I also LOVE coconut shrimp if done with the creamy sauce, not just a coating of coconut over the shrimp without sauce as some places serve. I have tried almost every recipe I can find to duplicate it at home and stil havne’t found the right one yet. Maybe if I’m lucky it will be in this cookbook. Gosh, I would be THRILLED if it is in there.

  55. Sarah F
