Homemade Lemonad Recipe
I’ve got just the lemonade recipe for you! My blueberry lemonade recipe is sweet, tart and vibrant! Last week my husband brought home a whole bag full of gorgeous lemons so we were so excited to make some homemade lemonade with the boys and their friends. I also had some fresh blueberries in the refrigerator that I cooked down with a little sugar and water.

How completely gorgeous is this color?! The kids went absolutely nuts for this tart drink. I wasn’t planning on sharing the recipe, hence the minimal photos however it was too good not to share.
If you are looking for an amazing stand mixer, we have absolutely loved this one. It isn’t horribly expensive and is so easy to use and clean up. We really use it all of the time for our citrus.
Wouldn’t it be fabulous to sell at a lemonade stand too? Fun stuff! So great for the summer months coming up.
I found it easiest to store the blueberry lemonade in large mason jars sealed tight in the refrigerator. It lasted a good week. Hope you enjoy!!
- 20 large lemons halved
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- Juice all lemons and place juice into a large mixing bowl. Stir in sugar.
- Place blueberries into a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar and water. Let slow boil for 10 minutes or until berries have softened and become sauce like. Pour berries through a strainer. Pour the juice into the lemon juice and stir to combine. Transfer juice into Mason Jars, close with lid and store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
