I would bake something on my big cookie sheet! Our oven right now isn’t big enough to fit a large cookie sheet. I NEED this! LOL I would most likely bake my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe that I make at least once a week! ๐Ÿ™‚

  132. Vicki Mc

I would make Bread in one part and those gooey oreo brownies I saw on your blog in the other part! I love LG appliances and have been drooling over an oven like this for years!

  133. Cindi Sieak

OMG… this double oven would mean the WORLD to me. I started a little bread business in 2008 and it’s still very small, but it took off quickly by word of mouth. From Oct thru Jan I am literally baking night/day in a very small basic oven and my husband is TOO cheap to buy a double because it’s not in the budget. I would bake my Pumpkin/Walnut, Banana/Chocolate and Orange/Cranberry Breads as well as have EXTRA room to cook my Muffin Tops or Candied Nuts. It takes me SO long to fill orders because it’s a single oven.

  134. Katie L.

My husband would be a cooking maniac!

I would invite everyone over and have a Thanksgiving meal even though it would (hopefully) be here before Thanksgiving.

Perhaps I would make a bake sales worth of goodies (most of my new ones are from you and Kevin & Amanda)! ๐Ÿ™‚

  135. Ashley

I would make cheesy hashbrown casserole, our family’s favorite recipe!

  136. Kelli

I would cook Pizza’s our oven doesn’t cook evenly anymore so one always comes out burnt so it would be nice to have them all come out perfect.

  137. Christy

    Drooling over this gorgeous oven!

The first thing I would bake must be my Nonna’s lasagna. That oven begs for something so loved like my grandmother’s lasagna.

  138. jan lilly

The very first thing is I would invite all the kids & grand kids over, I would tell them to arrive for a great home cooked meal in 4 hours.
My family favorites, green โ€“ beans -potatoes & ham hocs, boiled, mac & cheese, garden salad with raspberry vinagarette dressing, sliced water mellon & sugar mellon mix, home baked sweet rolls or corn muffins, brownie-fudge cream cheese dessert topped with one dollop of ice cream.
Convection is great, I use to have one and the cooking time drops by 40% and the finish product is evenly cooked and remains moist. When you have a lot of guest (which I do), the warming feature is tops. WOW, this is my dream electronic product.

  143. Wendy Allan

I would cook poached eaggs on my new gas range! I can manage to cook themon my electric one with out burning them.

  144. Sarah Reaves

My family’s favorite meal is a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Both girls and my hubby’s birthday are coming up and I would take the time to make them a Thanksgiving Dinner as their birthday dinner….my other oven is so small, it takes days to prepare the dinner…this would help a TON!!! Pies, dressing, turkey, noodles, sweet potatos, cranberries, all the fixin’s!!

  145. I would most likely bake something, maybe some peach cobbler…MmmMmm – the oven I have now is so incredibly old and has only 1 heat setting – HOTT!! It is so old that in order to turn the burners you push a button down that is located on the top of the stove – like above where the clock is. No turning a dial or anything…you litteraly push a little button down to turn it on. The actual oven part is so super small, half my pans do not fit in it – thats how incredibly old it is. I would so love to win this – I really need a new oven!!!

  146. Courtney Spece

I’d create an Italian and Greek feast – lasagna, spanikopita and moussaka, along with somee cheesy garlic bread. Dessert would be berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. PS I cook up a storm, for 1 of my babies and 3 others that I take care of not to mention a Hunnie that east for 5 ๐Ÿ˜‰ so it would be a great addition!

  149. Misty Mayden-Miles

What a gorgeous oven! The first thing I would bake would be a fresh loaf of bread ~ because, letโ€™s face it . . . thereโ€™s NOTHING like the smell of fresh baked bread! (PS โ€“ I have a wheat allergy, so I would serve it up to some loving friends who stopped by to gawk and admire my new stove, seething with jealously!)

  150. Katie J

In the top oven I’d do chicken and veggie foil packets, and in the bottom oven I’d do baked risotto, which has all the creamy and flavorful goodness of traditional risotto but takes a fraction of the effort standing over the stove.

  151. Allison

OH! Iโ€™m redoing my grandparentโ€™s old home and canโ€™t afford stainless or a double oven at this point, so this would absolutely make my day! And, Iโ€™d pull out her recipe for old-fashioned-made-from-scratch cornbread and make it!

  152. I would bake 2 things because, well with a double oven I totally could!
In the top oven I would make pizza, because obviously it’s delicious. And in the bottom oven I would make enchiladas because they are equally delicious but for different reasons. It would be a Jess’-favorite-food-a-palooza all. the. time.

  153. Abby S

My mom does everything for our family & gets little in return especially when it comes to our kitchen. She deserves something nice like this. 154. Katie

Wow! That is amazing looking and would totally overshadow the rest of my kitchen – I MUST HAVE IT!

First thing I would bake – my ever-favorite Mexican Chicken Corn Casserole!

  155. Stella Paeglow

Wow! I can already see some amazing Tyler Florence or J.Alexander’s baked mac and cheese in this oven!

  156. Kim R

Seriously!!! How amazing would this be!! Iโ€™ve been wanting a double oven for years AND I hate my ovenโ€ฆ.well itโ€™s a love hate relationship! Sometimes I make two separate meals due to food allergies and things just don’t fit in my single oven, it’s frustrating and time consuming! The fisrt thing I would make would be that nights dinner or a treat that I had recently found and dying to try!!

  157. Hummingbird cake in one oven and broiled steak in the other!
I would choose the gas one…if you lose power in a storm you can still make popcorn on the stove top ๐Ÿ˜‰

  158. Pam

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS oven! Is it sad that every time I walk in to a showroom I go directly to the double ovens like this? HA! First thing I would make.. roast in the bottom, yummy, awesome apple pie on the top. HEAVEN!

  159. I would cook as many Vanilla Pudding Chocolate Chip cookies as I could and then I would fix a big turkey dinner – I never entertain at my house because my kitchen (oven) are so old and small…

  162. Honnah

Gosh! This is amazing!! I would just bake away! My husband would not be able to get me out of the kitchen :o)
I would bake a Turkey and some kind of side or dessert. I can just see the possibilities!

  163. Becky S

I’ve wanted one of these forever!!

I’d make a lasagna in the bottom and bake bread in the top.

  166. Joy W.

My Black Magic Cake (made with Milky Way bars) would have to be first! Way too rich for every day, but just right for a celebration!

OMGoodness…This is like the most amazing giveaway ever! I begged and begged for a double oven because I am a baker but…with all the other expenses of building a home, I was denied one. Can you believe that! If i won, the first things I would bake are my boys favorite chocolate chip cookies (dozens of them) and my grandmother’s pound cake – my son has been begging for me to make him one.

  168. Haley Kovach

  183. Elizabeth

Would love to win since our new house (that we’ll hopefully get if our old house ever sells!) doesn’t have double ovens like our current home. We’ve got wall ovens currently, but I would love the singular unit like this LG model. I think I would have to bake breakfast casserole and some sort of sweet treat. What can I say, I love breakfast and sweets!

  184. Sherri J

I could go on and on and on! I think I would start in the front of my recipe book and make two recipes at a time for the next month! ๐Ÿ™‚

  192. Danielle

I would cook a turkey! When we bought my house it only had a 24″ oven and unfortunately it’s still all we have. We’ve been saving up for a double oven but keep needing other things like a new water heater. I haven’t been able to cook a turkey for my family yet and I have a beautiful set of pans that don’t fit into my current oven.

  193. Jenn H.

This giveaway got me thinking about stews, lasagna and baked goodies at 9am in the morning! I think the first thing I’d make is a good hearty lasagna.

  194. Vanessa

Wow!! I’d probably bake dessert in one oven, and dinner in the other!! Get the whole meal over with at one time. That would be fantastic!!

  195. Michael T Bleyhl

What would I make with a new double oven? Well let me tell you it would be an Italian feast of unimaginable proportions, in which family and friends would gather and marvel at the new oven and announce without hyperbole “This is the best dinner I have ever had in my life”

We would start out with a nice soup I have always wanted to try to make an Italian Wedding soup. There would be a nice sampling of Crustini (which is just a Baggett chip with red peppers, garlic, onion, olives, parmesan cheese melted on top)Main courses would be 4 meat lasagna, Fresh tomato, mozzarella and basil salad and I would make fresh bread. For desert it would be Tiramisu, which I have never made before, but am anxious to try to perfect. All of this with plenty of table wine and laughing.

Thanksgiving…. that’s the first thing I’d bake in the oven. The turkey, sweet potato casserole, green beans, and pumpkin ribbon cake for dessert. The only time I tried to do Thanksgiving dinner I had to borrow my next door neighbor’s oven. I’d be over the rainbow with an oven like that. How fun! Thanks for the giveaway!

  204. Emily C

Oh my! First off, I wouldn’t keep this for myself. I live in an apartment that has one already. But my parents are in a HUGE need for this. So I would give it to them. But I would definitely make a full on meal with them. Cook them whatever dinner they desired. Then make one of the stuff chocolate chip cookies (oreos? brownie?). They are delicious!

I would bake my fiance (Billy) a cherry pie in the upper oven and a classic American favorite to accompany it in the lower – meatloaf. On the stove top I’d boil up some yukon gold potatoes to mash and a side dish of spinach sauteed with garlic. He lives in Philadelphia and I live in New York but cooking for him has been a true joy.

  273. Tom

If I won I would break it in starting with some brownies and double espresso chocolate chip cookies..

  291. Kerri Marshall

I would be baking sugar cookies for sure. I keep telling my husband that I need a double oven when doing big batches so it doesn’t take all day. Doing two pans at a time would make it sooooo much easier!

  292. Rebecca

Oh, wow! The first thing I would cook in the new oven would be cupcakes- our current oven cooks everything very unevenly and the temperatures run really evenly, it would be amazing to cook something without having to drastically adjust the cooking temperature and bake time!

  293. Priti Bhoja

I think I would make a four cheese ziti in one and a red velvet cake in the other one!!!!

  315. Pam

My wife wishes she had picked the only double oven stove out there when we built 10 years ago but was unsure of the brand. She has a friend who has one and I know this would make her VERY happy. Oh my- two ovens plus a beautiful stove top. Since, I have started nesting more than likely I would have to say I could use those ovens to bake constantly. I have envision having one of the LG double ovens one day so that I could do like the commercial. A turkey in the top and desserts on the bottom. First, though I think we would do a cake and pizza since there are two ovens after all.
*I also have the LG front loader washer and dryer in the Bahama blue and that was one of the best splurges I spent after we received a bonus. I would love to add an LG oven.

  325. Colleen Summers

Love the stainless steel look in appliances… I would be giving this to my daughter who could use a new stove! She could make a yummy meal in no time in this baby, and since they both work this one would be great for that! she really loves pizza so she would probably make that and some bread sticks to go with it!

  326. nicole

WOW! That is incredible that you are giving away stoves!!!!! I would L-O-V-E a new stove! My stove is soooo old and doesnโ€™t cook even. Iโ€™m the baker in my family and make at least 3-4 cakes and 100ish cupcakes per month. I have to bake one layer or one pan of cupcakes at a time and rotate them halfway through so they bake semi-even. I end up having to cook a lot more cake and cut half off it off and throw away to make my cakes even. This oven would be so incredible and i could bake more than one 8inch cake pan at a time!!!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Iโ€™ve always wanted to start selling my creations but with a half cooking oven, that just isnt possible. This stove might be my big break!!!

  327. Trisha

If I were to win this terrific oven, I would definitely bake the Gooey Cookies and Cream Double Chocolate Cake Bars that my girls have been eying on Picky Plate. ๐Ÿ™‚

  329. Melanie S

Cookies! Lots and Lots of cookies. And maybe a cake or brownies. My current oven doesn’t bake evenly so I have watch everything very closly and rotate sheets frequently.

  330. Shanna

I have been wanting a double oven for years! I’d do roasted veggies in the top and a triple chocolate bundt cake in the bottom! ๐Ÿ™‚

I think the stove is as old as our house. We have been here a couple years and the stove is at the top of my “needs to be replaced” list.
