New Sara Lee Cookbook Giveaway, 3 Winners!

Hey everyone, check out this great new cookbook up for grabs to 3 lucky Picky Palate readers by Sara Lee. I have spent the last few days flipping through the book and it is incredible! It’s a beautiful hardcover cookbook, full of great photography and health conscious recipes. Here’s some info on the book:

Sara Lee
is partnering with The Heart Truth Campaign to raise awareness of heart disease among women and encourage them to make heart healthy food choices every day to take care of their bodies and their families. One of the best things a mom can do for her family is take care of herself. One of the easiest ways to take care of herself is to establish a heart healthy eating routine.

    I love fruit, I love string cheese and also like the laughing cow cheese with Chive flavored Fiber Select Wheat thins.

    I love English cucumer slices, red, yellow, and orange bell peppers slices and Hidden Valley Fiesta Ranch dip made with fat free sour cream… I eat this almost every day!

    We love to have diced apples with a little applesauce, raisins, and sliced walnuts, sprinkled with a little cinnamon.

    mmm..my favorite snacks…there’s so many to choose from! celery and REAL peanut butter, apples, strawberries…any fruit and veggies!! and i also love munching on raw almonds! yum!

    My family loves when I wash a bunch of grapes and leave them cut up on the counter. They will snack on them all day as they pass through the kitchen between playing.

    Cottage cheese with fruit! My absolute favortie is cottage cheese with pineapple and blueberries…I think I’ll go have some now!

    My favorite healthy breakfast/snack is Fat Free Greek yogurt with slivered almonds, blueberries (fresh or dried) and a drizzle of lavender honey. Yum!

    My favorite snack is Roasted Garlic Hummus. At times I eat so much that I start smelling like garlic and my husband knows what I’ve been snacking on.

    I love air popped popcorn sprinkled with cinnamon, and apples. Any kind of fruit is delicious! Fun give away!
