As I was deciding what recipe to make from Ree’s new book, my eyes were quickly drawn to her Malted Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love a good thin crispy cookie so I knew this was the recipe for me!

Ok, back to the cookies 🙂 These cookies took no time at all to whip up. The dough was absolutely delicious! Yes, those are my PJ’s in the reflection of my KitchenAid, lol!
I was so excited to get these babies in the oven!

It’s already warm and spring-like here in Austin so just a spinach salad with a sliced chicken breast and maybe a little bit of Popcorn Cake for dessert!
I’ll probably end up throwing together veggies with a brown rice medley. But I might have to make these malted milk cookies, too! They make me think of slurping malted milk shakes on a summer evening 🙂
