Sharing a Snickers Bar favorite dessert today! My Snickers Bar Peanut Butter Heaven is a Disneyland Copycat recipe that was a favorite of mine in 2015! So happy to re-recreate it for us!
Snickers Bar
This Snickers Bar dessert is so much fun and it’s a Disneyland copycat recipe that was a favorite from Pooh Corner in Critter Country back in 2015 when I would go with my oldest boys all of the time! It’s since been retired, but it definitely deserves a comeback. Basically a giant Snickers ball. It’s fantastic.

- creamy peanut butter- Use your favorite brand of peanut butter.

How To Make Peanut Butter Heaven Disneyland Copycat Recipe
- Place unwrapped Snickers Bars onto a cutting board. Carefully cut off chocolate on every side of Snickers Bars. Save scraps for eating another time if desired. Add caramel and nougat bars into a bowl, cut up into 1/2 inch pieces, stir in peanut butter and divide into two even balls, forming into tight balls. Place onto parchment paper. Place milk chocolate chunks over a double boiler, meaning boil water in a small or medium saucepan, reduce heat to low and place a heatproof bowl over top of saucepan. Stir chocolate chunks until melted and smooth.
- When chocolate is melted, use a spoon to spoon chocolate over top and bottom of Snickers ball. Your fingers will get dirty, don’t worry about it. Remove any excess chocolate from bottom of Snickers ball and place onto parchment paper.
- Place Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers into a small heat proof bowl and microwave until can be stirred smooth. Usually a little over 1 minute in microwave. Transfer melted dark chocolate into the corner of a sandwich size Ziplock bag. Twist and snip a small corner to use as a little piping bag. Drizzle dark chocolate over milk chocolate and let completely set up. A good hour or so. Serve room temperature.
Take a sharp knife and carefully cut off the chocolate from all sides of the Snickers Bar. It helps to wipe the knife after each bar with a wet paper towel.
Use kitchen scissors or a sharp knife to cut the chocolate-less snickers into 1/2 inch pieces. Stir in peanut butter and divide into two equal groups and roll each into tight balls.
Place the snickers balls onto parchment and get ready to dip in the melted chocolate.
What’s The Best Way To Melt Chocolate?
You can do this a number of ways, but I find it best when melting a good amount of chocolate, to do it via a double boiler method. You simple boil water in a medium saucepan, reduce heat to low and place a heat proof bowl on top. Add chocolate and stir to melt. The hot steam from the saucepan keeps the chocolate hot and melted.
Dip each ball in chocolate and place onto parchment paper.
Since you don’t need much of the dark chocolate melts, I melt them in the microwave. 30 second intervals works great, stir until melted and smooth.
I like to place my melted dark chocolate into the corner of a Ziplock baggie, twist and carefully snip a small corner to use baggie as a little piping bag. Drizzle chocolate over each ball and let set up.
Let the chocolate set up for about an hour before serving. Best served at room temperature.
