What You’ll Need
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make Nutella brownies at home. See the recipe card located at the bottom of the post for full details and instructions.
- All-Purpose Flour– All purpose flour is the main dry ingredient for brownies.
- Kosher Salt– Kosher salt is a coarse salt. I prefer using it in my cooking and baking.
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder– I prefer Hershey’s Special Dark if you can find it.
- Salted Butter– I generally use salted butter for my cooking and baking.
- Dark Brown Sugar– You’ll see light and brown sugar available in the brown sugar section. I like the dark brown sugar for these brownies.
- Granulated Sugar- Granulated sugar is a fine sugar commonly used in cookies, brownies and cakes.
- Canola Oil– Canola oil is part of the wet ingredients for the brownie recipe.
- Large Eggs– For consistency, I use large eggs for all of my cooking and baking.
- Pure Vanilla Extract– For best tasting results use pure vanilla extract.
- Chocolate Chips– Use your favorite chocolate chips, I use milk or semi-sweet.
- Nutella– Find Nutella near the peanut butter and jelly at the grocery store. It’s a chocolate hazelnut spread that is especially delicious with brownies.

Mouth-watering recipe! I will try this over the weekend.
And some juices placed in mason jars to have an aesthetic snack time.
I see at the picture part you said bake at 375 degrees. In the recipe part at the bottom you say 350. Which is it? At 350 it isn’t done at 40 something minutes
350 degrees F. I’ll go edit the photo.
I added kinder bars to the middle , every one at work and my family loved these!
Hi , wondering why you are using salted butter? 😀
Hi there, I prefer salted butter, but you can certainly use unsalted if you’d like.
Would doubling this recipe for a bigger batch be okay?
Hi Hannah, I think it would be just fine to double it and bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Watch bake time around 30 minutes.
