What You’ll Need

Let’s take a look at the ingredients you’ll need to make this viral recipe at home! See the recipe card at the bottom of the post for full instructions.

  • Soft Croissants– I picked up some croissants at my grocery store in the bakery section.
  • Cookie Dough– Toll House Cookie Dough works great, try this homemade cookie dough for another option.
  • Powdered Sugar– Completely optional, but I dusted the tops of my cookie croissants with powdered sugar after they baked.
  • Vanilla Ice Cream– The ice cream is optional as well, but it made a delicious addition.
  • Chocolate Sauce– I drizzled chocolate sauce over the scoop of ice cream, but it’s definitely optional.

How To Make Cookie Dough Croissants

Cut Croissants In Half. Carefully cut croissants in half, leaving the back still attached slightly.

Add Cookie Dough To Bottom Croissant. Scoop two large cookie dough scoops to bottom half of the croissant.

Add Top Croissant And Press. Place top croissant over cookie dough and press to flatten dough scoops slightly.

Add Cookie Dough Pieces To Tops. Use small amounts of cookie dough to press on top of the croissants.

Bake. Bake cookie croissants for 10-14 minutes, until baked to your liking. The longer you bake, the more the cookie will be baked. We take them out a little early for that “gooey” factor.

Dust With Powdered Sugar. Once the cookie croissants have baked, dust them with powdered sugar if you’d like. Adds a nice sweet touch.

Top With Ice Cream! This is something extra I decided to add…let’s just say it’s a fantastic addition. So fun, so good!

Leftovers

Store any leftover cookie croissants in an airtight container, room temperature for up to 2 days.
