I am in love with these cookie bars. So simple, so delish and so pretty on a plate. Let me break it down for you…. sugar cookie dough, Reeses PB Cups, Pretzels and Caramel. Wait until you cut into these. So good!!
Perfect for your Holiday Cookie Plates. These will definitely be on mine this year! Have a wonderful weekend friends!!
Crunchy Caramel Reeses Cookie Bars
1 Roll Sugar Cookie Dough, Pillsbury (or use your favorite sugar cookie recipe)
1 Cup crushed pretzels
3 Cups mini Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, unwrapped
10 Kraft caramels, unwrapped
1 Tablespoon milk
1/2 Cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Line a 8×8 baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray. Cut cookie dough roll in half and press half into bottom of baking dish. Layer with pretzels. Cut PB cups in half and layer over pretzels. Melt caramels and milk in a microwave safe bowl until melted, about 1-2 minutes in microwave. Pour caramel over PB cups. With remaining cookie dough, crumble evenly over top PB cups. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Let cool completely. Melt chocolate chips in microwave until smooth, drizzle over top of bars.

That’s funny, I just posted a recipe for a cheesecake with Reese’s peanut butter cups on it. I guess I’m not the only one with a few pieces of leftover Halloween candy.

Wow, what an easy and I’m sure, delicious, recipe! I love that there are pretzels in it. Sweet and salty is the best.
Oooohhh…. I love anything that incorporates Reeses cups. My fave!! I will definitely have to make these. I bought a bunch of Nutella, the chocolate hazelnut spread, at Costco the other day and have been trying to figure out baking recipes I could use that in. Do you have any ideas? I bet you could come up with something amazing!
Wow! Seriously, this has all of my favorite things – in one bar! I can’t wait to try these!

Why am I not surprised to see yet another awesome dessert on your blog? Seriously, you make some of the best desserts that I’ve never even heard of before. I’m going to try this out (maybe get my nieces to help me make it and eat it). Thanks.
I love the simplicity of this dessert! Definitely one to add to my repertoire during the busy holiday season when I am bound to need a quick fix dessert.

This is such an easy to make dessert! And I love the combination!
WOW WOW WOW! Look at those! Oh Jenny-they look SO good, and what an easy recipe for these hectic times ahead.
I so have to try these………..
My thighs hate you but my stomach loves you.
Made these tonite – served them hot with vanilla ice cream – they were a hit!!!
These looked SO good! So, I tried them. But you know what? They didn’t cook. The top was cooked, and the bottom was cooked, but they didn’t cook through the middle. What did I do wrong? Any suggestions or ideas?
Oh my, oh my, oh MY!
This has to be the most incredible-looking dessert I’ve ever seen!
hmmm… yummy….
These were a hit at my husband’s work. I will double the pretzels next time though. It might be because I coarsely crumbled sticks and I couldn’t taste them.
These became a fast family favorite at our house!!
My 14 year old son kept begging for more. Thanks for the awesome recipe (and the gained weight! LOL).
I made these today and they are wonderful! I had to bake them about 10 minutes longer, though, to get the middle done so the sugar cookie dough wasn’t still raw. Definitely will make these again!
Hi! I LOVE this recipe!! I saw it yesterday, had to make it today and love love LOVE it! So yummy! Thanks for such a fun recipe!

I know this is an old post, but I have been searching for a cookie to make for my boss who doesn’t like chocolate (I know!) for Christmas. She loves PB cups so (minus the drizzle) this is the perfect cookie for her! Thank you, thank you!
and how many calories are in the bars. THEY look amazingly awesome.
