What exciting news to find Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce now has two servings of veggies in every half cup.
We are massive pasta eaters in the Picky Palate house, so I was thrilled to try Ragu’s new pasta sauce with all the extra veggies packed in.

I found that the new formulation doesn’t actually have any different ingredients than the old formula. They’ve just packed more veggies into the formula to get to 2 servings of veggies per half cup (vs. 1 serving per half cup). The taste is the same great taste and they want to assure moms that the sauce they’re used to and have been feeding their families for years hasn’t changed.

We tried the Skillet Pasta and Beef Dinner with our new veggie packed Ragu and the kids went nuts for it. Before I added the sauce, I made sure I tried a spoon of each (the old and the new) and I enjoyed the chunkiness of the new sauce because I knew it was packed with lots of vegetables!

The dinner was a huge success and it literally took minutes to prepare. I love pulling out quick and simple recipes during the busy school week and that is exactly what Ragu helps us with. A great pasta sauce packed with lots of vegetables. Mom is happy and the kids are happy!

I don’t have a recipe, but I throw together 1/2 box of cooked whole wheat pasta, a jar of pasta sauce, a pound of cooked ground beef/chicken (I grind my own chicken – after I tried it once, it makes me nauseous to think about what might actually be in the stuff they sell in the stores!), and then whatever frozen veggies we have laying around – corn, green beans, or shredded zucchini from the garden. Everybody eats it, and it’s quick, easy, and healthy

I love to just make the pasta in vegetable broth and then put a little butter, some dry pesto seasoning, parmesean cheese and cooked frozen peas.

We like lasagna. We will make two different batches, since my wife and daughter do not like ricotta. We’re kinda like “Garfield” when it comes to lasagna in our home!

I love making what we call “American Chop Suey” with ground turkey instead of ground beef, and whole grain pasta. Wanna know what it is, just ask.

Cook up a pound of ground beef. Add boiled noodles and Ragu to the frying pan and you have dinner

My favorite pasta for busy nights is angel hair pasta with Ragu and a good Parmesan cheese. Thanks for the contest.

I pre cook and freeze both ground meat and chicken. When needed I can pull out either and add two jars of Ragu sauce, and put water on to boil. Start and finish my salad and pasta is ready to be thrown in, when it is ready dinner is completed. All but the eating, and everyone leaves the table a happy camper.

my kids love home made mac and cheese–pasta, cheese, milk and a bit of veggies if I can get away with it. quick and easy and not too bad for them!

Honestly, we just make pasta, throw on some traditional ragu sauce, and heat up frozen meatballs and the girls are all happy!

This is super easy. Cut up chicken breasts and marinate in basic italian dressing. Then cook with olive oil, add alfredo and cooked fettuccini.

I like to cook ziti or rigatoni, cover it with sauce, top it with mozzarella cheese, and then put it in the oven until the cheese melts. We love this with bread and a salad.

A simple pasta dish that I love is combining any type of cooked pasta and some spaghetti sauce. You throw it all in a shallow baking dish, top with cheese and bake for about 30-40 minutes. The results are divine and you can always add ingredients as you palate desires.

We love angelhair pasta with any ol’ flavor of Ragu sauce. We love to try the different varieties.

Pasta and sauce is our crazy night meal…as it is in many households! Can’t go wrong with it! We’ll steam a veggie too. Thanks for the contest!
