Peanut Butter Oreo Brownie Cakes

Well these naughty little treats are well….naughty but oh so necessary. There are a bit like my Brownie Covered Oreo’s from last Christmas but enhanced with layers of peanut butter and a double decker stack of Oreos in each little brownie cake. They are simply prepared in cupcake liners.

Hope you enjoy this ultra sweet little cake 🙂

Ok, I have to brag about this brownie mix from Trader Joes for a second. I know not everyone has a Trader Joes near by, however if you do, get a load of their ready to pour baking mix. I am in love! Other than a brownie mix, you just need some of your favorite peanut butter and some Oreos. You can even use the Trader Joe’s Jo Jo’s 🙂

Every single one of my batch stuck to the bottom of the cupcake papers. You should mention that, or has anyone else had this problem?

I made the oreo peanut butter brownie cakes for Superbowl 49 and they were a bit hit. I did not have enough oreos to make the last six using two oreos in each brownie, so the last six only had one oreo and they were just as delicious as the brownies with the two oreos. The recipe was a success and the Patriots are the Superbowl Champs what could be better than that……Enjoy

I have made these a handful of times since finding this recipe a few weeks ago and they are always well received! Very easy to make and they taste absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing!

Made these and they came out perfect. Not hard and the paper did not stick. Just followed the recipe but used a brownie box mix. Baked for about 18 min. or until the tooth pick came out clean.

I made these last night for my co-workers. I kept checking them to see if they were ready in the oven, and they didn’t look done. So I cooked them longer than the 18 minutes. DO NOT DO THAT!!! They were as hard as a stone! If you make these, take my advise, and follow the directions for the oven time. Don’t make the mistake I did, thinking that a few more minutes won’t hurt!!!

I make these for my husband’s work every time they have a pot-luck. They call them “crack in a cupcake”. Every potluck I ask him if I should make something different. Nope, they all want their crack in a cupcake. From the guys of the sunrise shift at the Ontario UPS hub, thanks for the recipe.

Going to bake these tomorrow, using Trader Joe’s gluten-free brownie mix, gluten free version of Trader Joe’s Jo-jo cookies, and their peanut butter 😀 Can’t wait to bake them!

Just made these for my friends and one has just said it’s probably the best brownie he has ever eaten!!! Thank you… MOST definitely going to bake these again!!!!!

  16. Kelly

I made this a bit differently today. I used one oreo, opened it, put peanut butter on one side of the cookie then put the cookie back together. Did everything else the same. This way I can make more. I made 30 of them! Yummy.

My family really like these but my liners stick to the bottom of the cookie and won’t completely peel off. Any thoughts?
